How long have you been at the Chamber?

4 ½ years

Why do you like working at the Chamber?

I absolutely love being a part of a team and an organization which makes a difference for individuals, businesses, and the community. I am blessed to be a part of the Troy community and in a position where I can hopefully play a role in the future of our wonderful community.

Share something that people don't know about you:

I was once the lead singer in a cover “hair band.” All the best; KISS, Motley Crue, Ratt, Winger, Ozzy Osbourne, etc. were in the playlist. The name of the band was Tipper Gore. Although I have lost quite a bit of vocal range, and hair, I am a still a sucker for karaoke.

I will celebrate 9 years with the Chamber in July.

Why do you like working at the Chamber?

Working for the Chamber is a dream job. Each day offers something different and there is nothing better than the opportunity to promote the businesses and the people of Troy, Ohio.

Share something that people don't know about you.

I have an obsession with Reese's peanut butter Easter eggs I don't think there is a better version of the Reese's seasonal shapes

I love getting to know all of the amazing people that make up the community of Troy/Miami County; getting to know our local businesses and their impact in the community has been so rewarding.

The Chamber provides Relocation Guides and Packets for those choosing to relocated to Troy.

When you are hiring, the Chamber can provide you with relocation information that includes informational to assist them with acclimating to Troy. The guide includes utility, banking, accommodation information and more.

Packets can be picked up at the office or bulk amounts of packets can be requested with 48 hours notice.

BWC Announces Rate Reduction

Did you know that Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Administrator John Logue announced at the Feb. board meeting that Ohio’s private employers will pay nearly $90 million less in workers’ compensation premiums in the next fiscal year due to an 8% rate reduction approved by the BWC Board of Directors.

The Chamber offers a BWC group discount, the average Chamber member is saving over $1,500.00 annually.

Featured: City of Troy Mayor Candidates: Robin Oda William (Bill) Lutz Aggregation Issue for the City of Troy. The Mayor's Race will most likely be determined during the May primary.
