Quality from water catchment to grid connections Our wide portfolio of products and services covers the entire working cycle of hydroelectric plants of all sizes and functions. We offer full, individual support for each power plant, from comprehensive advice and planning, project engineering and complete construction through to regular maintenance services. The plant components used are mainly manufactured by ourselves and are distinguished by their durability, quality and individual suitability to customer needs. Pelton, Francis and Kaplan turbines, full electromechanical equipment and standalone automation solutions mean a total concept integrating all components. When purchasing additional items such as generators, we work only with manufacturers that we can vouch for with a clear conscience. Whether for new buildings, overhaul work or increasing the efficiency of existing plants, we employ our full experience and our specialist knowledge of all areas of power plant construction in order to ensure the best possible success for each project. ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications and, from 2013, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 3834 all provide proof of the quality of our work.

Valentin Troyer built many electromechanical measuring instruments himself in order to be able to work innovatively, accurately and efficiently.
At the beginning was the vision of an individual pioneer In 1934, 27-year old Valentin Troyer resolved to make use of his solid knowledge of electrical engineering in his own company: he founded the “Elektromechanische Werkstätte Valentin Troyer” in Vipiteno, South Tyrol. From the outset his special passion was the construction of power plants. He developed his own regulation procedures, simplified the construction of turbines and thus laid the cornerstone of our enterprise that still remains: craftsmanlike precision and the latest technology in symbiosis with current practice.
Troyer SpA today employs more than 130 staff and is firmly in the hands of the third generation of the family. The expertise handed down from generation to generation is internationally acknowledged and appreciated. Troyer has made a particularly outstanding name for itself in the field of electrical engineering with its leading regulation technologies for hydroelectric power plants. Our vision for the future is to use advanced technologies to ensure the supply of environmentally compatible energy for future generations.
