The successful deployment of a fiber or broadband network is a complex endeavor that goes far beyond simply trenching and laying cable. It begins with a strategic vision and is meticulously executed through a two-phased design process: High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD). While both are integral to the project lifecycle, they serve fundamentally different purposes. HLD provides the strategic roadmap, while LLD delivers the precise, implementable blueprint. Understanding this distinction is crucial for managing costs, timelines, and the overall success of a network build.
