Passamos por um período de isolamento e descobertas, em que olhamos para dentro — de nós mesmos, de nossas casas. Abrimos as janelas, trocamos a roupa de cama, limpamos o guarda-roupa e agora, é tempo de olhar para fora, para frente, para as novas experiências que pouco a pouco nos permitimos viver.

Esse é um momento especial, e convidamos nossos amigos e clientes a celebrar com a gente os 30 anos da Trousseau, conquistados com muito amor, cuidado e dedicação.

We’ve gone through a period of isolation and discoveries, in which we’ve looked inward — into ourselves, into our homes. We’ve opened the windows, changed the bed linen, cleaned the wardrobe and now, it's time to look outside, ahead, to the new experiences that we gradually allow ourselves to live.

ARENA Poucos momentos são tão revitalizantes quanto os vividos à beira do mar. Sentir o calor do sol na pele e a brisa que sopra do oceano celebram o dolce far niente, um casamento perfeito entre a areia e a água, entre o bege e o azul que se complementam no vai-e-vém das ondas. É esta a inspiração dessa estampa sofisticada, batizada Arena — areia em latim. Os acessórios trazem os tons naturais do azul claro e do bege, com o toque final destacado pela estrela do mar em bordado cornely que protagoniza a almofada Stella.

Few moments are as revitalizing as those lived by the sea. Feeling the warmth of the sun on our skin and the breeze blowing from the ocean celebrate the dolce far niente, a perfect marriage between sand and water, between beige and blue that complement each other in the coming and going of the waves.

This is the inspiration for this sophisticated print, named Arena — sand in Latin. The accessories bring the natural tones of light blue and beige, with a final touch highlighted by the Cornely embroidered starfish that stars the Stella cushion cover.

Adriana e Romeu Trussardi escolheram um tímido, mas delicado espaço na Rua João Cachoeira, em São Paulo, para iniciar a marca que se tornaria um estilo de vida para milhares de brasileiros e T-lovers ao redor do mundo. 30 years ago, the first Trousseau store was born. Adriana and Romeu Trussardi chose a shy but delicate space on João Cachoeira Street, in São Paulo, to start the brand that would become a lifestyle for thousands of Brazilians and T-lovers around the world. Como foi o nascimento da Trousseau?

How was Trousseau's birth?

Adriana: During my childhood and teenage years, I always admired the way my family received their guests - the smallest details when serving dinner, making the beds and preparing the bathroom for dear friends who would come to stay with us. Romeu, on the other hand, has a family tradition in the textile industry for over a hundred years. All of this just made my eyes sparkle! When we set up the brand, we always thought about what we had in our homes and what we would also like to see in the homes of dear friends and clients.

Os mínimos detalhes ao servir o jantar, arrumar as camas e preparar o banheiro para amigos queridos que vinham se hospedar com a gente. What are the most memorable moments of the last 30 years for you?

Romeu: There were many. One of them was the decision to start it.

With significantly small capital compared to other market players, Adriana and I, as a young newly married couple, decided to work in our own business. Thirty years later, we are celebrating the company in virtually every state in Brazil, with operations in the US, ecommerce, hotel market and corporate companies acquiring our products, as well as more than three hundred people who are part of the Trousseau family; without a doubt, a reason to be proud of the path we’ve paved together.

Another striking fact was the pandemic. The feeling of knowing that all the stores would be closed, and the uncertainty of what could happen. When you have a consolidated brand like ours, a brand that experienced several financial crises in Brazil and of global impact, you think you know (almost) everything. We thought we already knew all the scenarios, but we were taken by surprise and forced to give a new concept to what it means to give our best to the business as a whole.

Valuing our team even more, as well as the customers who were by our side, was essential to face this moment.

Como mãe e como empreendedora isso me enche de orgulho, olhando para um futuro próspero com o legado de nossa família trabalhando junto para anos e anos de sucesso da Trousseau.

After five years of Trousseau I got pregnant and put the crib together inside my office room to work and take care of my baby. Jessica Jaegger, from Rio de Janeiro, has been stirring up the American market with a unique look in the lines and shapes of spectacular houses. She has worked on projects in Miami and New York, and in 2011 created Jaegger Interior Design.
