A Moooi foi fundada em 2001 por Marcel Wandres e Casper Vissers e hoje é uma loja e galeria de design construída no local de uma antiga escola. São 700 m2 nos quais se encontram produtos dos mais reputados designers holandeses, como Studio Job, Maarten Baas, Bertjan Pot, Front e Nika Zupanc. With original 1940’s chairs and industrial architecture the ambience of this little barber’s shop is enchanting . Frequented by hipsters who are after an impeccable cut and shave while tasting a true scotch whiskey. Also offer incredible aftershave products.

Constructed in an industrial space which reveals a relaxed mood and attracts fans of freshly baked croissants, brownies, and carrot cake, which are regarded as the best in town. There is a cozy garden which makes you feel at home. The decoration and furniture are made by design students.

Fundado no final dos anos 90, o studio nasceu da idéia de designers holandeses dispostos a criar objetos inusitados redefinindo o conceito do “luxo”. Em 2012, abriram sua concept store, com produtos assinados por artistas consagrados e jovens talentos. Em 2012 foi criado, no mesmo local, o Hotel DROOG, com um único quarto, no qual a decoração muda a cada semana de acordo com as novidades da loja.

Mais do que apenas um restaurante, o De Plantage é uma experiência que alimenta paladares e olhares apurados em busca de formas e sabores inusitados. Menu recheado de deliciosas opções estilo bistrô contemporâneo. A arquitetura, que preserva características do tempo, inovou na maneira de reinventá-las - simples e cheia de charme. No verão, os drinks e quitutes servidos na praça são um ótimo programa.

Founded at the end of the 90’s, the studio was born of the inspiration of a group of Dutch designers, with the aim of creating uncommon objects redefining the concept of luxury. In 2012 they opened their concept store which collects object from well established, as well as younger designers. In 2012 the hotel DROOG was created in the same location, with one room where the decoration changes every week according to new items in the shop.

More than just a restaurant, De Plantage is an experience that feeds all kind of tastes and people looking for unusual shapes and flavours. The menu is full of delicious choices, which resembles a contemporary bistro. The architecture - which has preserved features of time and innovated in the way of reinventing them - enchants by its simplicity and charm. In summer, drinks and food are served in the square in front of the restaurant, that is certainly a good plan.

Hallen was constructed in an old and enormous former hanger for street cars, and works as a cultural centre, library, design and fashion studio, bicycle shop and concert hall. But the greatest attraction is indoors with the food trucks and their tasty pizzas, sushis, falafels, burgers and fish & chips stands.

The city is reflected in the hotel. We collaborate with local national festivities such as Tulip Festival, Open Garden Days, exhibitions and concerts. We have a special host team that knows about everything going on in Amsterdam and nearby, they can arrange exclusive (personalized) programs for our guests. The hotel is surrounded by culture as it is located in the heart of the city’s museum square, which is home to many of the city’s major museums including the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh and Stedelijk Museum. As for wellbeing, we have a beautiful holistic wellbeing centre called Akasha. It’s our spa but it’s not just an ordinary spa but a complete environment of tranquillity and peace. Including a state of the art gym, swimming pool, watsu pool, Jacuzzi, hammam and treatment rooms. The Conservatorium Hotel was designed by one of the most prestigious designers at the moment, Piero Lissoni. What led to the choice of working with him? The contact between the Italian architect Piero Lissoni and the owners started with a private objective. The owner asked Piero Lissoni’s help with his home. After that Piero Lissoni designed one of the hotels owned by them in Jerusalem, the Mamilla hotel, and after that they were more than happy to collaborate on the Conservatorium hotel. You can also see some similarities between the Mamilla hotel and the Conservatorium, like some of Piero’s famous trademarks such as the floating stairs and the chandeliers. Piero Lissoni completely understands the vision of the owners and guided the creation of the hotel whose rich historical narrative is woven with utmost care into its very fabric. Christmas tree of Amsterdam while in April, the hotel is dressed with over 1,000 tulips in all the public areas, inspired by and in celebration of the annual Tulip Festival in Amsterdam. Yes, the Conservatorium hotel is part of The Set hotels, together with hotel Café Royal in London and the Lutetia in Paris, the last one being currently renovated. As I mentioned before what all three hotels have in common is that they are all three beautiful landmark buildings with a genuine, sometimes famous, history but all three have a spectacular modern design on the inside.
