Growing up in Cairns, Australia, Susie was in awe of the lush tropical landscapes around her. She loved spending time with her grandma, a medicinal chemist and toxicologist, who encouraged her to feed her body and skin with nature’s freshest, most colourful ingredients.

After moving to London as a teenager, Susie was determined to help her mum pay the bills. She recreated her grandma’s homemade body scrub recipe, poured it into 50 jam jars, and headed to her Greenwich market stall. Susie sold out on her very first day!
