Margrie Hunt is the Eastern Caribbean's leading manufacturer of custom, handmade ceramic wall sconce. We invite you to view our creative and growing collection of ceramic lighting options.
Sconces are preferred now by the design community as one of the most effective ways to provide useful complete lighting. Margrie Hunt lights aim to significantly enhance the decorative and architectural character of a space.
Designed by husband and wife, Michael Hunt and Imogen Margrie, the evolving range combines characteristics of regional motifs, Arts and Crafts and contemporary styles in beautiful versatile forms.
LIGHTING SCONCES
All Margrie Hunt lights are individually hand made at our studio in Antigua. The white earthenware clay we use produces a classic off white bisque finish. Ideal in itself, this finish also takes well to being painted potentially matching any decor.

CUTOUTS
Margrie Hunt’s growing range of classic bisqued finish sconces can also be complimented and personalised by addition of their expanding choice of cut-out motifs.
The patterns are individually hand cut into each sconce and so an additional price is charged for their application based on their complexity. Combinations of cutout patterns can be requested on any sconce where compatible. For combo patterns add US$15. Custom designs may be requested.
It has to be noted that not all patterns may be adapted to fit all sconce styles. Indications will be given.

All sconce include a medium base (single/double) porcelain socket suitable for Tungsten, LED or CFL lamps, maximum 75w. Margrie Hunt fixtures include all parts necessary for mounting over a standard junction box.
PRICING
The team at Margrie Hunt also offer the option of originating custom designs based on client briefs. All prices listed refer only to the ‘classic blank forms’ of our sconce styles. We give you the option to select cut-out patterns from our growing range of creative and whimsical motifs.
Average set up time for orders 4-6 weeks (subject to quantity and production schedules).
