FOODS FOR LARGE SPECIES OF FISH Large species of fish are popular due to their enormous size and interesting body forms. They are attracting not only aquarists.

However, these are not fish for all aquarium enthusiasts. Due to their large size, they need enormous tanks and very efficient filtration system. Such tanks very often have only one fish living in here. But some aquarists just love large arowanas, gars, arapaimas, Protopteridae, rays, catfish, cichlids and other fish described as “monster fish”. For these unique large fish Tropical has prepared five special foods based on diverse formulas to match dietary needs of carnivorous, herbivorous and omnivorous fish. In this way, we want to emphasize that fact that not all large fish eat meat. They also feed in different areas of the tank, hence Tropical foods as available in both floating and sinking forms.
