auRORa Film&Kinos importpris Film&Kino’s importprize

12 av de mest utsøkte og ettertraktede spillefilmer fra den internasjonale arenaen konkurrerer om Aurora-prisen. Blant disse velger juryen én film de mener bør gjøres tilgjengelig for det norske kinopublikummet i 2008. Prisen på kr 100 000,- er sponset av Film&Kino, og går til den norske distributøren som sørger for at filmen blir importert til Norge. Alle filmene i konkurranseprogrammet har sin skandinaviske premiere under TIFF08, og alle er fra 2006–2007. An exclusive selection of 12 feature films from the international arena compete for the Aurora prize. Among these films the jury selects the film they think deserves to be seen in Norwegian cinemas in 2008. The prize of NOK 100 000 is sponsored by Film&Kino, the main organisation for the cinema and video industries in Norway, and goes to the Norwegian distributor who can ensure the import of the film. All the films have their Scandinavian premiere at TIFF08, and all of them are produced in 2006-2007.
