WELCOME Welcome to the latest edition of the TRM Equine Product Brochure. TRM was established in 1989 in Newbridge, Co.Kildare, Ireland, a county also known as the ‘Horse capital’ of Ireland. TRM’s facilities have evolved into a 7300m2 modern production facility which employs the latest technology to ensure all products are manufactured to exacting international standards.

FOAL CARE is a complementary feed supplement specially designed to supply balanced quantities of Vitamins, Trace Elements and a Prebiotic to maintain general good health and vitality in Foals.

It can be fed as a nutritional adjunct to underweight foals and during periods of stress, convalescence, pre and post weaning and digestive upset.

BETA CAROTENE, FOLIC ACID & VITAMIN E Feed Supplement for Broodmares

BREEDING & BONE SUPPORT MOBILITY

BETA CAROTENE, FOLIC ACID & VITAMIN E occur freely in nature, and are especially high in spring grass. During the early months of the breeding season, levels of these vitamins drop well below normal requirements.

TRM have formulated this unique complementary feed, which is designed exclusively for breeders, to help condition their mares for the winter breeding season. Supports the preparation for oestrus and reproduction.

Instructions for Proper Use: All broodmares: Feed 50 g (1 level scoop) per day. Commence feeding 6 weeks prior to breeding season and continue thereafter, until completion of the first three months of pregnancy.

VITAMIN E 2000 is a complementary feed for all horses. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant, which also has roles in fertility. Vitamin E is beneficial to young rapidly growing foals, pregnant mares, stallions, and all high performance horses.

CHELATED COPPER GEL is a complementary (dietetic) feed for horses to support the regeneration of skin and appendages. Copper has an important role in the maintenance of elastic connective tissue. Zinc acts as a component of many metalloenzymes involved in protein and carbohydrate synthesis.

It is appropriate to feed this product in the following situations: • •

Fructo-oligosaccharides is a non-digestible food that selectively stimulates the growth of beneficial bacteria in the colon.

BREEDING & BONE SUPPORT MOBILITY

Instructions for Proper Use: It is appropriate to feed this product in the following situations: • Poor bone development • Dull, dry fading coat, hair depigmentation • Poor hoof health • Where there is a deficiency of copper & zinc in the diet Adult Horses: Add to the normal feed ration initially at the rate of 50g per day (equivalent to 20mg Zinc and 20mg Copper per kg DM based on average DM intake 10kg per day.)

Weanlings/Yearlings: Add to the normal feed ration initially at the rate of 25g per day (equivalent to 20mg Zinc and 20mg Copper per kg DM based on average DM intake of 5kg per day).

Feed for up to 8 weeks ensuring that the respective legal maximum contents for complete feed are respected. The opinion of a nutrition expert or veterinarian should be sought before using the feed or before extending its period of use.

GNF is a mineral feed which is a combination of minerals, amino acids and a prebiotic which have a role in general metabolism and are required for normal feed conversion. It should be used to complement the feed of horses.

VITAMIN C 10% Antioxidant Support

VITAMIN C 10% is a complementary feed for horses. Under normal circumstances a horse produces adequate supplies of Vitamin C. However natural production may not be sufficient during the following circumstances and supplementation can be beneficial.

• Horses in very hard training where additional antioxidant support is required.

• During periods of stress.

• In very hot conditions.

• In young and old horses to nutritionally support collagen synthesis.

CHELATED COPPER SYRUP is a complementary (dietetic) feed for horses to support the regeneration of the skin and appendages. Copper has a role in the maintenance of elastic connective tissue. Zinc acts as a component of many metalloenzymes involved in protein and carbohydrate synthesis.

EQUISEPT Specialist Equine Disinfectant

EQUISEPT is presented as a 10g effervescent tablet (containing 5g Troclosene Sodium (NaDCC) – the active ingredient.) EQUISEPT is a broad-spectrum disinfectant active against bacteria, viruses & fungi. It is particularly active against fungal spores, especially Aspergillus, many of which cause damage to horses and restrict performance.

Normal Use Rate: (300 PPM available Chlorine) 50 tablets per 500 litres water or 1 tablet in 10L water.
