This magazine has been in the works for the past two years. Verse 3 – For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Triumphant Magazine was created to talk about the good things that are unhighlighted; unlike the bad news which is tremendously segmented towards daily. The negativity seems to take precedence every time and the positive things are unnoticed and often not reflected upon.

Triumphant will focus on the unrecognizable activities that take place from a positive prospective; therefore, this magazine was put together to focus on the positive circumstances taking place throughout our communities. Positive circumstances are not fully appreciated; therefore, it is necessary to place additional emphasis on the greatness that is completely be heavily missed and unnoticed in several aspects for several years.

You Are Worth So Much More Don’t worry about what others say they see Because you are a mere image of me I have told you that before. You were marvelous and wonderfully made Yes, you may have some imperfections, but even that my child, I am working out for your good. You see where you are today, but I know where you are going to be tomorrow I would give you a peak, but it is too surmountable for you to perceive. I will reveal it to you little by little, so do not be fooled by what you feel or what you think because what I have planned for you may seem impossible, but there is nothing too hard for God. You will accomplish things that you never thought you would. For eyes have not seen and ears have not heard and neither has enter the heart of man, what God has prepared for those who love him. 18 years, Still Standing
Scripture: Exodus 3: 1 – 5 (KJV) Pastor Larry D. Chavers is still standing after 18 years. St. James M. B. Church, Sandhill- Osteen, can attest, that we are blessed and fortunate to have such great leadership. Our leadership is worth following still after these years. Pastor Chavers has one beautiful wife, “The Beautiful, Evangelist Althea Chavers.” They have been married for 31 amazing years. They have 4 children and one grandchild. The family is also faithful to the ministry and the calling that the Lord has over the pastor’s life. Our pastor always says, “Follow me, as I follow Christ.” Many churches have closed doors and some pastors have walked away. On the other hand, St. James, Pastor Larry D. Chavers is still declaring the works of the Lord, in season and out of season. This coincides with the scripture many are called, but few are chosen – Matthew 22:14. Pastor Chavers does not only preach the word of God, but he exemplifies it daily: in the communities, with his family and church; along with those he interacts with constantly. We are fortunate and blessed to have a man of God that displays his love and concern for souls continuously. First, to be a man or women of God, you must be selfless and those are the attributes that can easily be found in our pastor. He is faithful to his calling, when others are not; however, he doesn’t allow that to detour his responsibilities to the kingdom of God. We are grateful that we have a man of God like the word says when it comes to leadership – Hebrews 13:17 - Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that (is) unprofitable for you.
Sometimes pastors sacrifices are not totally recognized like it should be. We acknowledge and realize a pastor work is never done. Thank you, Pastor Chavers for pouring into our spirits daily enabling us to grow in Christ. You look at your members and it is fascinating how you, as a pastor, can discover our beauty despite our faults. You realize we are a work in progress because the good Lord hasn’t finished with us yet. You have baptized many and comforted the comfortless during their time of need. As a pastor, you have seen many come and many go, yet you re-
main steadfast and unmovable in the Lord. We appreciate you consistently standing firm on the word. The support you give to the young men and young women is commendable, enabling them to see their worth every opportunity you can. Pastor Larry D. Chavers, we salute and honor you, and want to remind you to never become weary in your well doing. Althea Chavers Keeping the Fight
The Beautiful Althea R. Chavers was given the name, “The Beautiful”, at the most difficult time of her life. The name “The Beautiful” was derived by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Beautiful Althea R. Chavers was diagnosed with breast cancer and this year marks 10 years of being breast cancer free. The road was not easy at all, but the Lord allowed her to persevere through it all. Althea R. Chavers recalls asking the Lord to “Build her up, where she needed to be”. As time progressed, she was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer because it was Stage-3. When all this transpired, Evangelist Althea Chavers lost her hair, but was blessed and fortunate to have her husband, Pastor Larry D. Chavers, Sr., who firmly stood by her side reminding her; she looked good in every possible way. By the grace of God and her faithful husband she persevered through this trial and came out with a powerful testimony.
Her children, Asha Chavers, Ayla Chavers, and Larry Chavers, continuously chorale around their mother displaying tremendous love, prayers, and support. One day, she met a woman getting chemo treatments and after having an in-depth conversation with this woman. Evangelist Althea Chavers found out the woman had cancer and it was on her brain, and immediately,
Evangelist Chavers started to look at things from a different prospective. She was inspired to still give the Lord, the honor, glory, and praise. Doctors were astonished because they were telling Evangelist Chavers and Pastor Chavers to make necessary arrangements for the worse, but the beautiful, Evangelist Chavers and Pastor Larry D. Chavers Sr., both con-
tinued to keep their faith. They continued to believe and they continued to pray. Fortunately, by the grace of God, medical bills were taken care of by the family, and food was provided and the Lord continued to make provisions along the way. Evangelist Althea Chavers is not afraid to let you know how the good Lord miraculously healed her body. She is not afraid to say, “If he did it for me, he can do it for you.” In 2012, Evangelist Chavers formulated her own, Strides for Breast Cancer Walk and the theme is “Keeping the Fight.” The first year there were over 300 supporters present, which was impressive for the first annual walk. This year, 2017, marks the 5th year of having the Strides for Breast Cancer Walk. The walk is normally held at the Lacey Boys & Girls Club of Volusia/Flagler Counties, and the address is 935 S. is always encouraging women and men to get themselves check for Breast Cancer. She always places emphasis to not wait until the month of October to get checked. Evangelist Chavers is amazing and beautiful woman from both the inside and outside. Her faith continues to remain strong and she continues to testify of the goodness of the Lord and his healing power. She is victorious in every possible way and she displays no shyness in letting you know that the glory and honor belongs to God.
