together and dependent on the others for maximization of their impact. When you see a strawberry, dipped in chocolate, and you smell its freshness, you can almost taste the sweet goodness BEFORE you bite into it. He made us so that we would enjoy the effect of all the beautiful things in the world that He created, just for us. Each sense can function on its own, but they work best when they work together. Scripture does not tell us that it is a sin to enjoy life. It says that over indulgence, in anything, is a sin, whether it be food or church. There are Christians who neglect their families by being too engaged in the “ritual” of church and not the intent of Faith. Serving God is not confined to brick and mortar but should show itself in the everyday actions of believers. Whether we are at work or on a date, our lives should reflect the word of God and the light that he placed within us at creation. As we make our professions of faith and acceptance of Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we must remember not to separate our everyday self from our “God self”. They should be one in the same. Just as all the senses of the body work together, God wants us to work together, as brother and sister, husband and wife, human to human, and honor Him, praise Him, exalt Him, and in doing so, enjoy all that He created that honors Him. After all, we know God has a sense of humor, He created us. Can you Feel Me? As the young’uns say…Stay Woke!

Intentional giving and intentional living As we approach this holiday season, let us not forget the trials, but let us concentrate on the many blessings that have led us to today. There will be holiday ads and TV commercials that will try to persuade us to not focus on the true meaning of the season. Do not be coerced into the rhetoric of holidays by making lists of gifts without the gift of time. I encourage you to take part in intentional giving and intentional living for the remaining of the 2017 year into 2018. In the last four years, I decided to not only give intentionally, but to live intentionally as well. I decided to share in happy moments and memories with loved ones and those that have been a part of the journey of my life rather than buy gifts that may remain unopened or forgotten after awhile. My gift giving days are spread throughout the year and not left for colorful packaging in the month of December. Maybe it’s because my son is in his 20s now or maybe it’s just because I am older and see things differently. I probably was not ready to clean my lens of living 10 years ago, but I can see clearly now. I have attended too many funerals and heard of too many heartaches of illness and wondered if they had done everything that they had wanted to do. I have been impacted by those closest to me, that have escaped near death and I wondered if I had done all that I could to have been a blessing to their lives. So, this is the remedy to those awkward moments over the years of spending what was not in my budget to fit a mold that was uncomfortable. Today, I encourage you to embrace Primrose’s principles of release and relief. Release any form of guilt that you might have for not being able to make purchases that are above your means and find relief in knowing that your family and closest friends will love you anyway. If you have not seen a loved one in a while, take this time to visit, make a phone call or send a card of hope to let him/her know that you are thinking of them. Intentionally make all efforts to reconnect and spread the gift of time, love, and happiness this holiday season. Dr. Primrose Cameron Cameron Chronicles www.primrosecameron.com

Woman of Impact Josianne offers exemplary service by impacting women tremendously through “Women of Impact” Women of impact is a private organization that was founded in 2014 by Josianne Saintil. Josianne is a phenomenal leader, mother, wife, friend, owner, and great role model for generations to come. She earnestly shows the world and the community by continuously making a significant difference. Josianne encourages and shows women how to unapologetically walk in their truth. The women routinely concentrate on matters pertaining to family, finances, communities, education, building up the next women and clearly defining and living their purpose in life. Leaving no room for regrets, because the women are consistently walking in their truth. The interview was conducted by myself, Theresa Jordan. Why did you pick the name women of Impact? There was a time in my life, when I wanted to know my purpose in life. I went on a fast for two weeks, no water and no food, and I sought God for clarity of my purpose. I always loved the word “impact” and one day my husband, Jean Petit-do and I had an encounter one Sunday. My husband, Jean Petit-do, knew how much I loved to impact the lives of others and he simultaneously mentioned to me, “Arise”. After we experienced this on

Josianne Saintil

Sunday, we combined the two names Arise and Impact. “Arise to Impact” was intentionally launched. My primary focus is women; however, this is funny to say, “because at one time in my life, I found myself not liking people in general.” Suddenly, I was changed, and I begin liking people and I became passionate about changing the lives of women. Women became my ultimate concern and primary focus, and this is where the Women of Impact name derived from

and remains in existence today. Did you have any struggles in the very beginning? Yes, for several years, I desired to start an organization that fulfilled the needs of women. Fear attempted to get in the way and tried to stop my purpose from being materialized. In 2015, I wrote a goodbye letter to fear and then I deliberately started walking in my truth. What does the future look like for the Women of Impact?

We will have women’s retreats, coaching one on one and workshops throughout the year. Now, if you are a member they are free, and we encourage the members to bring someone with them. We will focus on adding more members to Women of Impact and generating a newsletter once per year. Now, I was very fortunate to go to one of your conferences in Orlando, Florida. Could you tell us about your conferences and workshops? Yes, the very first conference was in Orlando, Florida and the response was overwhelmingly great. The second conference took place in Fort Lauderdale and we had a workshop in Tampa, which sold out. Do you see yourself incorporating more cities?

differently to make it better? Yes, the first one, I felt I had too many speakers. The marketing could have been done more and I have learnt that less is more with the speakers. How long does it generally take you to setup a conference? I typically take 3 months, but it really should take longer. How do you measure the success of Women of Impact? Quarterly coaching focuses on investments and budgeting. Members are required to come to workshops and bring a friend. The women seemed so genuine during the conference in Orlando. Why do you feel that was the case with each of the speakers?

I do not pay my speakers because I want them to be surreal with the women that are presNo, we will continue to concenent at the conference. Now, After each event, do you think to what I do on my end is market yourself, what could I have done them on my website and I focus

entirely on my speakers and I do not concentrate on myself. By marketing each speaker, this virtually has the tendency to generate more business for them. Family Law: Preparing for a Successful Mediation Family issues can be emotionally explosive: divorce, abuse, parenting problems, money, taxes, real estate, visitation…you name it; thus most cases in Florida require mediation to help the parties craft a mutually agreed upon outcome.
