This dissertation tried to analyse the amount, cause and methods of prevention for climbing injuries, predominately indoors. Over the course of several months interviews, questionnaires and observation where collected and assessed against already present research, to provide a deeper look into climbing injuries. The whole process taught me invaluable skills in data collection, analysis and academic writing. The data for this study was used to develop a training scheme for beginner climbers, as a lack of proper technique was the cause of most injuries.
