Average Year Founded simply adds all the years together and divides by the number of Memorable Meetings Venues. January 3, 1961, U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower severed diplomatic relations with Cuba. Newly elected President John Kennedy assumed office 17 days later. The Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba failed by April 19. The American Civil Rights Movement got underway in earnest. And the Vietnam War officially begins…1961 was quite a year!

Median Year Founded derives from sorting our 54 Meetings Venues into date founded order, and finding the one in the middle. There are 26 founded prior to or in 1983, & 27 after.

Mode of Year Founded: 1995

Mode of Year Founded is the date that appears most often in our roster of numbers. Built in 1995 include Sloan Convention Center in Bowling Green, KY + Bismarck Event Center in Bismarck, ND + Clemson Conference Center in Clemson, SC.
