Changes to Registration Reminders: FAFSA, Scholarships and Requesting Accommodations Are you graduating? TRIO Updates and Events Campus resources and events Connect with your TRIO Academic Advisor

Need to Change Your Class Registration? If you’re thinking about dropping a class, it’s important to do it the right way. Simply not showing up won’t automatically drop you, and that can cause problems down the road. Up until 4 p.m. on Friday of Week 1, you can easily drop a class online and get a full refund on your tuition and fees. Starting Monday in Week 2, any changes to your schedule, whether adding or dropping a class—will need to be done using a paper form with your signature. If you drop without adding the same number of credits, you might only get up to a 50% refund. And don’t forget there’s a $50 late fee for registration changes during Week 2. After Week 2 (the 10th day of the quarter), things get a bit trickier. You’ll need to submit a petition to add or drop a class, and there’s a $100 late fee. If you’re unsure about the process or need help making changes, your TRIO advisor is just a message away. One last thing: If you receive financial aid, keep in mind that dropping below 12 credits could lower the amount of aid you receive. Make sure to check with Financial Aid before making changes!
