Its been a joy to have our young people back on Trinity campus! Regular “VBS” style programs for grades 1-5 began in the fall, held each Sunday morning, and led by Susan Robeson. A continuous series of programs has included offering of “Knights of the North Castle” “Lights, Comics, Action” and “Journey to the Manger”. During November our young people took a leading role in the 10:30am Eucharist service, performing a number of pieces and the psalm. Later in 2021 it became apparent that we needed to expand provision for our older children and young teens and thanks are due to Bess Putnam for leading this new initiative and setting up this new group. For our very youngest Trinity members we re-started our childcare / nursery provision on Sunday mornings. Numbers using this facility have been low and we’d like to remind parents about this provision and encourage greater use of it. As we enter 2022 plans are afoot for a refurbishment of the nursery including a supply of new toys and books, renovations to the rooms and repainting.
