Recognizing Our Graduates

Compline: Friday, 5/22 at 9PM Via Zoom Starting TONIGHT on Friday, May 8, compline will start at 9:00 pm so that we can all enjoy the longer hours of daylight after dinner.

(Having it at 9:00 pm also puts the prayer closer to the traditional time it is offered.) We'll connect via Zoom Meetings every Friday evening while Trinity's in-person gatherings are suspended due to COVID-19 related restrictions. When you join the Zoom call, we will be starting with some quiet time so that we can center ourselves before we begin our prayers.

Forward Movement: Day By Day (MayJuly) Devotionals Evening Exhale: Tuesday 5/26 at 9PM A New Evening Exhale will Premiere on Tuesday, May 26 at 9:00PM! Join us on Facebook each Tuesday evening for the next three weeks for our Evening Exhale, a time to relax our bodies and calm our spirits before bed. We’ll offer an opening proverb and close with a final benediction from Lisa. A professional from Modern Dance Co., Dominic Glover, will lead us each week in a series of stretches and holding poses that can be performed nightly before bed.

Lectio Divina: Wednesday 5/27 at 7PM Via Zoom Join us on Zoom each Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:00PM for a time of Lectio Divina, an ancient contemplative practice of engaging the Scriptures. Each week, we will read together a portion of the Gospel text for the upcoming Sunday and be led in a time of reflection, sharing, silence, and prayer. No reading or preparation necessary—just show up when you are able and come as you are, with your whole heart and soul.

Phased Return to In-Person Parish Life for the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio The Coronavirus continues to impact our communities across the world. As Episcopalians,

05/20/2020 [Episcopal News Service] Presiding Bishop Michael Curry will offer a brief sermon for a virtual memorial service for the victims of the COVID-19 pandemic hosted by the National Council of Churches on May 24 at 6 p.m. Eastern time.

Titled "A Time To Mourn" (a reference to Ecclesiastes 3), the service will include reflections of "lament, comfort, encouragement, and hope" from Curry and other leaders from NCC member churches, as well as music and Scripture readings.

The NCC – an alliance of Christian denominations in America, including The Episcopal Church – invites all to participate in the "time of remembering, mourning and celebrating the lives of loved ones."

Those who would like to include the names of loved ones who have died during the pandemic can submit them here.
