TSN Vendor Lunch Volunteers Needed on 10/15 Trinity is excited to host Toledo Street's Vendor Lunch on October 15th, and we'd like to invite you to join us! Every Thursday, Toledo Streets hosts a vendor/staff meeting, with lunch to follow.

During this season of social distancing, their staff meetings have been postponed, but the vendors still gather for a quick meal. Trinity will supply these vendor lunches every 3rd Thursday of the month! We need YOUR help! Trinity will purchase the food but we will need 2-3 volunteers to help assemble the lunches and distribute them.

UPCOMING BELLWETHER EVENTS

Personal and Family Retreats

Bellwether Farm is beginning to provide limited overnight accommodations. Personal and Family Retreats are a safe way to provide individuals, couples, and families an opportunity to spend the weekend at Bellwether on October 9-11, October 16-18, and October 23-25.

These self-led retreats begin at dinner on Friday night and end Sunday morning with breakfast and a farmer's market. The package includes two dinners, two breakfasts, one lunch, and room accommodations. All meals are farm-to-table and locally sourced, allowing guests to experience the creative collaboration of Chef Lonny and Farmer Kyle in every meal. Guests also have the option to reserve one of five common rooms for additional space for gathering - perfect for reading and games. Each includes a coffee maker, mini-fridge, couches, chairs, and a table. Fishing poles can be reserved for $5 per family (live bait included!), as well as campfire pits free of charge.

Guests will have the option to volunteer on the farm Saturday morning with Farmer Kyle. Outside of farm

Bellwether Farm is raising turkeys this season, caring for them and giving them access to all the things they love: sunshine, pasture, and all kinds of bugs. We expect to have a limited number available by Thanksgiving and will be selling them as part of our 2020 farm-to-parish COVID-19 response initiative, Feeding the Beloved Community. Since May, we have been able to donate produce and pork to five parochial hot meal programs, and are excited to have the opportunity of adding turkeys during the holiday season. Here's how it works: A contribution of $100 ($50 of which is tax-deductible) will cover two turkeys one to enjoy with your friends and family and one to be enjoyed in the hot meal programs we are supporting.

There will be 45 partnerships available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and you can sign up here, or by contacting Kyle Mitchell. Pick-up days will be Saturday, November 21; Monday, November 23; and Tuesday, November 24. Your turkey can either be fresh or freshly frozen.

Spiritual Walks at Bellwether Farm

Bellwether Farm is a ministry rooted in a Christian spirituality of inclusive community and care of creation.

We will host regular Sunday afternoon walks offering nature-based spirituality in the context of the woods and wonders of Bellwether Farm. All generations are invited and welcomed to join Chaplain Anna to hike, pray, explore, and connect to God and each other through nature in these masked, socially distant, curated hikes. On November 8 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., we'll journey through the long and mysterious story of the universe that will help us find and name this present moment of grace. Afterward, a simple soup supper will be served in accordance with state and diocesan protocols, and a freewill offering will be collected. Please register for the Spiritual Walks prior to attending.

BrownBag Concerts

For an unprecedented 43rd year, Music & Art at Trinity will offer seven BrownBag concerts this fall. This year's concerts will be livestreamed from an empty cathedral for the safety of the performers and the home audience. The BrownBag concerts are the longestrunning free music program in Northeast Ohio. You can watch all of the concerts at bit.ly/TrinityConcerts or trinitycleveland.org. Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1, marking the time when clocks "fall back" and we gain an extra hour of sleep. Don't forget to turn your clocks back 1 hour before heading to bed Saturday night!!!

2020 Pledge Drive We are nearing the completion of our Annual Pledge Drive. Thanks to all who have made a pledge for 2021.

We have half of the pledges we are expecting and praying for to date. If this ministry feeds your heart and soul, whether you are an official "member" or not, now is the time to show that support by completing a pledge form as a sign of all we hope to do together with God’s help in the coming year. Thank you for your faith-filled generosity.

Christmas Poinsettias We will be ordering poinsettias from Hoen’s Garden Center again this year. The poinsettias will be 6 1/2″ with multpile blooms, for $12.00 each.

Spiritual Walks at Bellwether Farm

Bellwether Farm is a ministry rooted in a Christian spirituality of inclusive community and care of creation.

We will host regular Sunday afternoon walks offering nature-based spirituality in the context of the woods and wonders of Bellwether Farm. All generations are invited and welcomed to join Chaplain Anna to hike, pray, explore, and connect to God and each other through nature in these masked, socially distant, curated hikes. On November 8 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., we'll journey through the long and mysterious story of the universe that will help us find and name this present moment of grace. Afterward, a simple soup supper will be served in accordance with state and diocesan protocols, and a freewill offering will be collected. Please register for the Spiritual Walks prior to attending.

BrownBag Concerts

For an unprecedented 43rd year, Music & Art at Trinity will offer seven BrownBag concerts this fall. This year's concerts will be livestreamed from an empty cathedral for the safety of the performers and the home audience. The BrownBag concerts are the longestrunning free music program in Northeast Ohio. You can watch all of the concerts at bit.ly/TrinityConcerts or trinitycleveland.org. More information about the performances are also available.

Art Show at Christ Church, Shaker Heights

Light through the Trees, an art exhibit featuring paintings and mixed media pieces by artist Lucy Bailey, will be on display at the Van Aken Community Gallery at Christ Church, Shaker Heights on November 7 through December 12.
