It is our hope that this quarterly publication will serve as a resource for information within the company and boast employee and team accomplishments. TRINITY UPDATES MARCH 2023 | ISSUE 1

PRESIDENTS NOTES Team, 2023 is off to a rapid start! We continue to welcome new team members, and develop our Strategic Plan to grow the TRINITY brand. We have successfully closed the deals that Flip announced at year-end 2022; Old Dominion is under contract and starts in March; Dulles Logistics Center (Brookfield) is under NTP and also starts in March; we are under LOI/NTP on H5, demolition begins in the coming weeks and we are pricing full site development as this note is written. For the first time, TRINITY’s backlog has exceeded $100 million, and more opportunities are in the pipeline. This is thanks to everyone’s hard work and dedication, and we appreciate the efforts everyone continues to put forth.

We have accomplished one of our key initiatives for 2023, by bringing an in-house Director of Safety to team TRINITY. James Hartman joined us and has made a solid impact in a short period of time. Thank you all TRINITY team members for welcoming James to our company. Our focus on running projects in a safe manner has resulted in ZERO incidents in 2021 and 2022, and we strive to continue this trend. More and more clients and users are focused on EMR/TRIR of late, and we must maintain with our vigilance. PEOPLE are the most important aspect of our team, so let’s keep working to ensure everyone goes home safely at the end of each day.

We look to the future and are excited at the prospects before us. Alex, Ben, Aaron, Erin, Tony, Ed, and Pegah have all carried the TRINITY flag to Career Fair events at James Madison University, Virginia Tech, and George Mason University to introduce TRINITY to students and graduates.

Thank you all for representing TRINITY to the college community, and we will continue working to attract the best and brightest to our team.

JAMES HARTMAN Safety Director "My name is James Hartman and I have taken over the Safety Director position here at TRINITY. I have been in safety for over 13 years and enjoy teaching all sorts of safety classes. In my free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and spending time with my family.

Family is always my top priority that includes my work family.

Safety is something that isn’t just for me, it’s for all of us. I continue to learn daily and enjoy passing along the knowledge. My priority is to educate, lead, and coach. I am very excited to start this journey here at TRINITY Group Construction and look forward to working with all of you."

What is your favorite quote?

“Life just becomes more pleasant when you have a positive point of view,” quoted by Rohen Phoenix.

What is something about yourself (a fun fact) that people may not know?

I am actually pretty funny. When I was a little girl, I confused a red pepper as a strawberry! 😜 Considering that I also grew up in Bolivia, my heart belongs to the sea. I love seafood!

Seafood is one of my favorite foods to eat, the varieties are endless!!

Why did you choose a career in construction?

I chose this career path because it brings a balance of challenges, variety, professional growth, and personal satisfaction. I enjoy collaborating with teammates to set and achieve goals.

What is your favorite hobby?

"My favorite hobby would have to be Rugby. I grew up in the area and myself along with the rest of my team were able to take home 3 state championships for Western Loudoun Rugby over the 8 years I played for them. I was able to play for WVU’s rugby team for 3 years as well and still enjoy playing pickup games with the local men’s leagues."

What are you most excited for at TRINITY? "I'm most excited for all of the great opportunities for myself to learn from the experienced, knowledgeable, and welcoming staff here."

What is your favorite quote?

I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.” – Thomas Jefferson

What is your favorite kind of music?

"Listening to rock, classic rock, and anything ACDC while I'm driving" What is your favorite quote?

I have 2 - "I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted.

I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them." John Wayne "I've always followed my father's advice: he told me, first to always keep my word and, second, to never insult anybody unintentionally. If I insult you, you can be goddamn sure I intended to."

"That I wrestled at 113lbs in high school, now I crap bigger turds than that."

What is the most rewarding part of your job here at TRINITY? "Sitting here and answering these stupid questions with you."

"Best place I have ever worked. That's not 3 words but whatever...."
