Hartford and Its Many Offerings

The capital city of Hartford offers a number of educational opportunities for hands-on learning through a unique network of public service, nonprofit, and educational organizations, as well as many corporations and industries.

The Center for Hartford Engagement and Research (CHER)

CHER works to strengthen academic and co-curricular partnerships in Hartford communities, earning Trinity the 2023 winner of Campus Compact’s Richard Guarasci Award for Institutional Transformation.

To graduate, students complete 32 academic credits and 3 “plus” credits of their choice. Students also complete a wellness requirement in their first two years, encouraging lifelong habits.

Trinity-Infosys Partnership

Global technology corporation Infosys partners with Trinity to offer opportunities to students that combine a liberal arts education with technology.

Global Study

More than half of students study abroad through approved programs. Trinity also sponsors signature programs in Cape Town, New York City, Shanghai, and Vienna, and on our Rome campus, a home away from college.
