So October Fast Trackers. You've almost finished the Trinity College Foundation Studies program have you? Hasn't the time flown by quickly? It feels to me as though it was only the other day that we were welcoming you last October, and now we are close to the end of your program and you'll soon be leaving us! I know what you've experienced in the academic program has been hard at times. We've asked you to work hard and to really
stay focused. But you're Fast Trackers and you mostly can handle the pressure! I hope you will earn fantastic results and
that the offers of university places that you are really hoping for do actually come your way.
But 1 also rather hope you haven't only worked hard. I hope you've done some 'playing' as well, had lots of fun and made some great friends from all over the world who will be friends in the coming years. This yearbook might help you remember some of the fiin times and great friends and some of the teachers and others who have been so involved with you. Aren't they just a great bunch of teachers? 1 know everyone here at Trinity College wishes you the best of luck and every success In the future. We hope we have helped you on your way to fuiniling some of your dreams. Think of us even when you're at university and for years after that too. I really hope you

I LOVE OFT!!! I think it is a fantastic program and I LOVE being able to get to know ALL the students in the program each year. They are my joy each and every year. The 2009-10 intake has been no exception. Indeed, this year I have had several glad to be alive moments that have truly warmed my teacher heart. Several of those moments occurred during the debates in: Feb 2010 when students amazed me with their passion, analytical skills and the high level of research and knowledge on their topics. I had to change my mind on. : several issues based on your evidence and persuasiveness. FANTASTIC!11
Also, during the recent Oral Presentations I have again been amazed by the high quality of work and creativity of this year's OR.Some presentations have been incredibly informative,some fun,some interesting, many well organized and a significant number well researched. So,just ask me about issues such as - time travel, parallel universes, the "innate"
aspects of homosexuality, why same sex marriage shoulc^^ be legalized, as well as why children should read fairy ' tales, why humans do in fact need religion and even why social networking on the internet is the "way to go"for teenagers these days. Myself and many other OFTers now; know. More than just well done - BRILLIANT! Thank you all for another extremely rewarding
challenging, inspiring and FUN year. All the best at Uni, wejf trust you feel ready.
LITERATURE
Well, what can be said about OR 2009-2010,
except, "Is it finished already"? Wasn't it just yesterday that I adjudicated your Team Skilling competition, or that we went to the IMAX theatre and the Victoria Market? (I still think my team should have won the movie tickets, but I'll
get over it.) What have you learned from the characters you have met along the way?
