December2023-November2024

As we often say around here, church doesn't end on Sunday-our faith carries on through the week. That's why we encourage everyone to connect through a group, course, or next step in their journey. Over the year, hundreds of you have joined these gatherings!

It's been incredible to witness God at work in these moments-from exploring faith for the first time through Alpha, to enjoying a game of pickleball with Trinity Women, to diving deeper into the Word through the Bible Course. We are so grateful for the dedicated volunteers who make these gatherings possible and for the commitment that keeps them thriving week after week!

I learned alotof interesting correlations between the culture of the Biblical time compared to how we view scripture today. The Bible Courseis greatfor everyone! Ithelps people applyan accurate visual timeline and cultural relativityto the Word, making iteasier to understand.

Asa nurse, I was invited tojointhe first aid team 15yearsago. Overtime, asour church'sneeds have grown and evolved, so has our firstaid team. Today, weare blessed with aremarkablegroup of medical professionals whoare deeply empathetic, caring, and wholeheartedly dedicated toserving our church ina real, hands-on way. Through this experience, I'vebeen remindedofhow wecan use ourprofessional skills to serve God's work.

DALE & DENISE

Serving on the worship team at Trinity hashonestlyfeltlikehome.Finding my waybackto God's calling andinto a deeper pursuit ofworshipping Him has been so healing. I've found aspace where it issafe toheal, safe to feel, and a spacewhere it'sokaynot to be okay somedays. To worship and grow alongside a team that is so passionately pursuing adeeperunderstanding of God'slove, mercyand goodness in the mess of life...hasbeen abeautiful thing to experience.

71 TheNext Generation

December2023-November2024

At Trinity Church, our mission is to equip and empower the next generation-from infants as young as 6 months to young adults. This commitment has been in our DNA for over 60 years! Whether it's the hundreds of kids who have joined Summer Stuff and weekend Family Experiences, the youth who gather for Wednesday night events, or the young adults who engage in events and groups, we love sharing Jesus' love with every individual who walks through

our doors. Our goal isn't just to connect for 60 minutes on the weekend; we strive to equip families with the tools to carry God's teachings into their daily lives, creating faith-filled habits that last all week long and for life!

God led us to TrinityChurch after we moved from Vancouver in2018and God opened the doors toanincredible communityhere. The team at Trinitywas so helpful in finding areas of the church where my husband and I could serve and use the giftings he has given us. My youngest son has been able to come along to serve as aGradeSchool prep volunteerand it hasgiven meafeelingofpurposeand belonging (along with him too!). The fellowship we have built with the group of ladies each week while we volunteeris also so veryimpactful.

HELENE

Injoining a Community Group I found likeminded young adults who I can share my life withand encounterJesusalongside. From sharing cups of soup around the kitchen to engagingin meaningful moments of learning, prayer, and hospitality, I've found people who can hold me accountable, celebrate within the good moments, and rely on inthe bad. I've found a place where I can confidently say, "I belong andam known here".

Having the privilege tobuild these homes in El Salvador wasno small thing. I learned thatthese homesrepresent so much more than I'll ever see: a drybed, security, & hopefor generations. Getting tobuild relationships with thesefamiliesthe single moms, and grandparents, evenwhile being dogpiled bychildren - has shown me a perspective of God's love thatI would have never seen otherwise. You'll never regret what happens when you choose to trust God, step outside of your comfortzone, and be the hands and feet ofJesus.
