In order to live out the value we place on learning, we are excited to announce a tuition payment program for full-time Ozinga employees enrolled in courses at Trinity Christian College as part of this program.

This brochure supplements the Ozinga memo about the program. It contains an overview of the program, links to Trinity’s website for additional information, and some key contact information. This brochure can be directly accessed on Trinity’s issuu page: issuu.com/trinitychristiancollege

KEY DATES COURSES BEGIN IN FALL, SPRING, AND SUMMER.

REGISTRATION BEGINS MARCH 1 AND NOVEMBER 1 THREE OPTIONS FOR PROGRAM PARTICIPATION: 1.

Take an approved course, or two, as an “Unclassified Student,” which means you are not necessarily taking this course as part of a plan to complete your degree. You will earn college credits for your coursework after you successfully complete it.

2.

Earn your bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, or Education as part of the accelerated Adult Programs. (Prerequisites are required.)

3.

Earn a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology (Prerequisites are required.)

INTERESTED? HERE ARE SOME GUIDELINES TO KEEP IN MIND AS YOU DECIDE ON A COURSE: •

Courses must be relevant to your professional development as discussed with your manager. The written approval of your manager is required before application for admission or registration.

Courses must be taken at times and dates that do not conflict with workplace requirements.

•

You are expected to make a serious commitment to participating in the course activities and to achieve passing grades.

Discuss your selection with your manager to ensure that it is relevant to your professional development.

2. ACCELERATED ADULT PROGRAMS: If you are interested in completing a bachelor’s degree in one of the following majors, these accelerated Adult programs can often be completed in two years or less, if you have the required prerequisites: •

Psychology

Education

•

3. GRADUATE PROGRAM — MASTER OF ARTS IN COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGY: •

Meet with your manager to discuss if this graduate degree is relevant to your professional development.

COURSES BEGIN FALL, SPRING, AND SUMMER (AUGUST, JANUARY, AND MAY) READY TO GET STARTED? 1.

Decide on the option you want to pursue.

2.

Discuss your interest with your manager and obtain your manager’s approval.

3.

Fill out the TCC Tuition Payment Plan Approval Form located in the Toolbox area of the Ozinga intranet under the Talent Development heading. If you do not have access to this, your manager can provide a copy for you.

4.

Have your manager complete the manager’s portion of the form.

5.

Send the completed form to Rex Jameson at the Mokena office and give your manager a copy. You should also keep a copy. This step is important, since Trinity cannot accept your application properly until Ozinga verifies your eligibility.

6.

Follow the instructions in this brochure to apply and register for courses.

7.

Trinity will invoice Ozinga for your application cost, tuition, and fees. If you receive any invoices, please forward them immediately to Rex Jameson at the Mokena office.
