TCA FUND IMPACT REPORT 2025-26
YOUR GIFT MATTERS
A MESSAGE OF GRATITUDE Dear Trinity Christian Academy Family, As we reflect on the past year at TCA, we are filled with deep gratitude — for our students, our faculty and staff, and for you, our faithful TCA family. Community is both a defining characteristic and a cherished value at TCA. Families, alumni, faculty, staff and students are united by enduring relationships, a common pursuit of excellence and a shared commitment to Jesus Christ. Together, we form a special family that serves lovingly, prays faithfully and gives sacrificially because we believe in the lasting, eternal value of TCA’s mission. In September 2025, we launched the TCA Fund, our new annual fund designed to strengthen and support key areas of school life. Through your faithful generosity, the TCA Fund has already made a meaningful impact across our campus, helping provide the resources needed to sustain and elevate the exceptional Christ-centered education that defines the TCA experience. Excellence requires investment, and your support helps ensure our students receive every opportunity to grow academically, spiritually and personally. Thank you for partnering with us in this important work and investing in the lives of the next generation. Together, we are equipping young men and women to serve, lead and live for the glory of God.

“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” – 2 Corinthians 9:11
TCA FUND The TCA Fund, our annual fund, makes our school exceptional and accessible by supporting initiatives beyond tuition. Gifts to the TCA Fund provide resources for TCA leaders to meet needs and respond to opportunities which enhance experiences and further the mission of TCA. The TCA Fund is the highest giving priority, and we ask families to support the annual fund every year. Throughout the history of our school, families have given above and beyond tuition to create the exceptional educational experience our students enjoy today, and we follow in their footsteps in a faithful pursuit of excellence. Gifts to the TCA Fund are invested in the three key areas of impact: Our People, Student Experience and Campus Enhancements.
2025-26 BY THE NUMBERS • Inaugural year of the TCA Fund • $1.96 million contributed to the TCA Fund • 439 donors gave to the TCA Fund • 89 families represented in the TCA Circle • 100% of students, faculty and staff benefit from the TCA Fund

TCA CIRCLE
Those who give $5,000 or more annually to the TCA Fund qualify for the TCA Circle, a recognized group making a significant impact on our mission.
OUR PEOPLE STUDENT TUITION AID (STA) STA is a needs-based program helping qualified families afford a TCA education. 113 students (1 out of 13 students) representing 73 families received STA for the 2025-26 school year. Thank you for making an eternal impact in a student’s life.
EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FOR FACULTY AND STAFF
“From the beginning of freshman year to graduation senior year, TCA has brought me closer to God in an indescribable way. The community of God-loving Christians deepened my love for Jesus and changed my life forever. The faculty and the administration love the students and treated us like their own children. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to be a part of the community and graduate from TCA. I am ready for the life God has for me.” - STA Recipient, Class of 2026
Through your support of the TCA Fund, you helped provide financial assistance and encouragement to faculty facing unexpected crises.
NEW LOWER SCHOOL LITERACY PROGRAM TEACHER TRAINING Teachers for kindergarten through fifth grade received training in the new literacy curriculum implemented for the 2026-27 school year. The TCA Fund helped provide four coaching sessions for teachers to learn the curriculum and practice techniques. The new literacy program not only sets the foundation for Lower School students but also impacts how Middle and Upper School students tackle complex assignments.
“Providing students with a strong foundation in literacy has always been a priority at TCA, and the implementation of the 95 Phonics Core Program is a natural extension of that commitment. By equipping each teacher with a consistent, researchinformed framework for explicit and systematic literacy instruction, our youngest learners will be equipped with the foundational skills and confidence they need to become successful readers. We are excited to continue investing in our students and building on the strong tradition of academic excellence that defines our school.” - Lower School Teacher
MIDDLE SCHOOL STEM TEACHER TRAINING Gifts to the TCA Fund allowed STEM teachers to be trained in a new curriculum and innovative teaching methods to engage this age group. STEM teachers visited two other schools that have integrated STEM meaningfully into their middle school programs.
ATLAS CURRICULUM MAPPING TCA implemented curriculum mapping this year for every subject in preK through 12th grade. Through your support of the TCA Fund, new capabilities will be added for the 2026-27 school year allowing teachers access and the ability to search the map for redundancies and gaps in the curriculum. The Atlas update will allow the academic specialists and Dr. Legband to continue selecting and crafting TCA standards for each course.
GUEST SPEAKERS FOR STUDENTS, FACULTY AND PARENTS Vanessa Hawkins, an expert in Christian culture-building within school communities, will speak to students, faculty and parents in October. Early next year, another expert will share about social and emotional development of our children in the modern world. The TCA Fund is helping secure experts to encourage our community and build up our students.
STUDENT EXPERIENCE LOWER SCHOOL LITERACY RESOURCES Through your support of the TCA Fund, we are expanding our literacy library by adding more classic titles for students as they build their literacy skills. We will use our current library to curate our best collection and purchase new books to make it stronger and more targeted to our readers, especially our high-fliers.
MIDDLE SCHOOL STEM EQUIPMENT With the introduction of the new student-centered schedule, we had the opportunity to expand our STEM program for fifth and sixth grades. Fitting out classrooms with more and better STEM robotics and maker equipment is expensive — a multi-year process. Gifts from the TCA Fund helped purchase preliminary equipment and the curriculum.
“I like that we get to build things using real tools and materials in STEM. You have to test and sometimes change your design and try it again. I like that there can be different ways to solve the same problem.” - Middle School Students
DISCOVER WEEK ACTIVITIES Your support of the TCA Fund helped create innovative and meaningful learning for students during the inaugural year of Discover Week. There are extensive costs in providing hands-on learning experiences, field trips, service opportunities and fun activities for our students. The TCA Fund supports Discover Week through supplies, activities, museum entry costs, transportation and teacher development.
DISCOVER WEEK STUDENT TRIP SCHOLARSHIPS During Discover Week, TCA offers educational and mission trips for Upper School students as well as local mission trips, service opportunities, professional internships for upperclassmen and thoughtfully planned on-campus courses. Some families may not be able to afford the optional trips due to travel costs. Your gifts to the TCA Fund provide partial scholarships, making life-changing trips more feasible for students.
“During Discover Week trips we go to church with people from a different country speaking a different language, but all of us are worshipping the same God. The ability to experience firsthand all the history and places I have studied in school allows me to have a deeper understanding of what has transformed our world.” - Upper School Students
CAMPUS ENHANCEMENTS PRIVACY SCREENS Through initial gifts to the TCA Fund, privacy screens were added to the Lower School and Early Childhood Playgrounds. These visual barriers create a safer, enclosed environment for our youngest learners.
ENTRANCE GATE CAMERAS License plate reader cameras were added to the campus entrance gate through your generosity to the TCA Fund. The cameras capture license plates of vehicles entering and leaving campus through the gate and record data. The cameras allow the gate to automatically open for registered vehicles such as Upper School students, faculty and staff. Future use of the cameras is being assessed by our campus safety and security team.
PARKING LOT CAMERAS The TCA Fund provided resources to install cameras in parking lots throughout campus. This added security allows our security team to monitor all seven parking lots simultaneously. The cameras provide a visual record to review incidents, investigate issues and monitor campus activity. The presence of security cameras also provides a certain level of deterrence to criminal activity on campus.
“Investments in security personnel, technology and training are not simply operational expenses — they are investments in the confidence and peace of mind of our parents, students and staff. Campus security has become one of the foremost concerns of current and prospective families. Our comprehensive plan and robust security presence demonstrate our commitment to providing a safe environment where students can learn and thrive.” - David Smith, TCA Director of Campus Safety and Security
THE TCA FUND STRENGTHENS THE MISSION OF TRINITY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY We hope and pray to build on the successful inaugural year of the TCA Fund and do even more!
