HISTORY

FADU is short for Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo (Architecture, Design and Urbanism College). It´s a public college at Buenos Aires situated in front of the river and surrounded by trees and grass...there isn´t really much more than the buildings over there. It was a summer night in 2007, a gruop of graphic design students where about to start their last class of the day at 7PM after a long day at the university. All of them where hungry but there wasn´t much left at the canteen, (and lets be honest, the food over there is not the best one you can eat) plus not a single restaurant was delivering food at the address as it´s far away and walking over there is not an option. One of the girls called Julia was tired of not having anithing healthy to eat after 6 years of studying over there so she thought it´d be amazing if she could create her own salad with fresh ingredients in a matter of seconds and eat it before her class... it was a genious idea! That was when she decided that the first thing she was gonna do after graduating would be to create a restaurant that would deliver fresh organic food to the students. Late that year, her dream came true inaugurating her new food store.
