This project aims to speculate on Australia’s violent colonial legacy and aims to further understanding how violence and power continue to shape Hyde Parks urban setting and its surrounding city. Also speculate how in conjunction to its violent past time, how modernized Sydney has been impacted by societal addiction which contributes to modern urbanized violence, a concept created by western powers during globalization which revolutionized Australian society resulting in the normalization of mass societal fragmentation, which has lead to mass dislocation. It is because of this, Hyde Park remains a powerful spatial tool in representing the underlying violent and corruptive nature of Australia’s true dystopic identity.
