ZOE ABDUL-MALIK
Miss Black California Talented Teen 2024
Zoe Abdul-Malik, a remarkable 15-year-old, thrives in her passions for singing, dancing, acting, and family time. A 10th-grade honors/AP student, she ardently advocates for social justice and science. At the Youth March for Justice, Zoe bravely addressed police brutality, contributing to change in her local community. Her support for the deaf community led to policy changes in LAUSD, enhancing educational equity. Zoe, a pageant participant since age 6, focuses on increasing youth wellness and self-esteem. She co-developed Project Butterfly, a support group for girls, emphasizing self-esteem, goal setting, and mindfulness. A scholar in a dual enrollment program, Zoe aspires to explore Biology or work with NASA. Her global ambitions, linguistic pursuits, and dedication to underrepresented STEAM careers define her trailblazing spirit. With a growth mindset, Zoe aims to leave a lasting impact wherever she ventures.
