PECHANGA B USCAP ADE 2018, ANO THER WINNER! BUSCAP USCAPADE ANOTHER By Sis. Betta David “Oh what a relief it is� was the sigh of our chairman Bro. Christian David after a successful stunt of our 1st 2018 fund raising this year. Our Pechanga Buscapade was a success. When we first got this assignment from our Bro.Pres. Beeboy, both Chris and I hesitated because first and foremost, we do not gamble, second: we do not have any clue on how to run this event, third: we doubted ourselves if we can run it. But thanks to our Emeritus Pechanga experts Bro. FerdieYambot and wife Rene, they guided us all the way through. A week before the event, we had 45 on our list but slowly it started dwindling and got reduced to 35 people. The bus capacity is 56 so we started to worry. We emailed, posted in Facebook, and started calling one by one until we found our savior, Bro. Jun Linsangan that pulled people from Sta Clarita. He was able to get 12 more people and that helped increased the numbers. The final count reached to 50 when we got to the bus. What a great sigh of relief. If we can not bring our numbers to 50, we might not be able to get our deposit back nor it is possible to get the required points. As usual, the bus ride was so much fun. Imagine you are surrounded with happy and jolly brods, sis, mi-Sis (wives) and guests. I would like to special mention Bro. Alex, who prepared the delicious Macaroni Salad, the Balut, was donated by Sis Irma & Bro. Bobet Peneza, the boiled eggs from Bro. Prez Beeboy, and I brought the Empanada, Chips & water. How can you go wrong with these merienda. Everything was good!!! Continued on page 3
