APOGLA Brothers, Sisters and friends celebrating Valentine’s Day at Josephine’s in Cerritos, CA
LADIES’ NIGHT NIGHT:: THE TRADITION CONTINUES By Sis. Daemma Mendez, Theta Sigma ‘92B
Another night of love, comradery and “booze”ful gathering hosted by APO GLA at Josephine’s on February 17, 2018. The night was well attended by APO brothers and sisters from GLA, Chicago and the Bay Area, not to mention APO family and friends. The night’s event started at 6 PM and ended at 1 AM of the following day. Sumptuous traditional Filipino food was served and of course, the bottomless booze provided by APO GLA and its members were enjoyed. The night was highlighted by the traditional rose flower giving by the APO brothers and male guests to the female attendees of the event. Smiles were flowing from all the females by such actions of the male counterparts. Equally entertaining were the lively songs sang and played by Maricar and the 4700 band which lighten up the mood and made those arthritic knees and harden hips of all sway to the sound of music. Food, alcohol, music and bonding shared and enjoyed by APO brethren and all. What more can we ask for? As the hostess of the event, the happiness, laughter and joy the event brought to all who have attended overshadowed all the painstaking work I and the GLA membership endured weeks and days prior to the event. The night was undoubtedly a night to remember and cherish. May We Always Be True To Self and To Each Other. Truly yours in APO and in APO GLA. - Sis. Daemma Mendez, Theta Sigma ‘92B
