Lobby Panduit provides tamper-resistant faceplates, water-resistant faceplates, jack blockout devices, plug lock-in devices and irregular outlets to physically prevent unauthorized access to ports or unauthorized removal of patch cords in hotel lobbies and other venues with high human traffic. This not only avoids humaninflicted network failure or downtime, but also network intrusion and computer viruses.

Panduit’s field term plug for direct termination may be used for cameras and other applications in public areas. Panduit offers 28 AWG slim patch cords of various length that not only looks good but takes up less space.

To enable the latest technology for a smart meeting room, you will need a reliable structured cabling solution to converge separate networks. Panduit has the right cabling solutions to increase cabling density without compromising on cable management and performance.

Hotel Front Desk Hotel front desk is divided into stations and is equipped with a voice point, a data point, and a reserved info point. All these points are differentiated with colour-coded modules and patch cords. Panduit USB Blockout Devices provide physical security for open office environments. Type-A USB Blockout Devices prevent unauthorized access of USB flash drives and other removable devices, thereby preventing information disclosure and virus intrusion through such removable devices. Type-B USB Blockout Devices avoids unauthorized use of USB-based peripherals such as printers.

If the patch cords in the Office Area were poorly arranged, they would appear tangled and be prone to wear and tear. Panduit’s abrasion protection conduits arrange the cords into bundles for protection purpose.

Telecom Room Telecom room is the central room for all telecommunications and is usually limited by space. Spacesaving cable management and connectivity systems from Panduit will help solve your problems and prepare for the future in both new and existing networks.

Angular patch panels are most advantageous in eliminating horizontal cable managers. Traditional cable management requires a horizontal cable manager for each horizontal patch panel. In normal applications, one 1RU or 2RU cable manager has to be mounted for each 1RU patch panel, wasting 50%66% of the horizontal mounting space in cabinets. Using angular patch panels working with vertical cable managers for cabinets/ racks, horizontal cable managers are no longer necessary. 1U

48-port angular patch panels for copper cables or 1U 144-fibre angular patch panels for fibre cables even provide four times greater patching density than traditional solutions. Thanks to the angular design, patch cords naturally bend to both sides and those on a same elevation are aesthetically arranged into a fan.

Eliminating the constraint of horizontal cable managers, all patch cords are presented to the manage personnel, enabling more direct and convenient MAC. Panduit provides two-post racks (13U to 52U) for small floorprint in small telecomm rooms. Depending on cable density, we provide vertical cable manager options of 6”, 8”, 10”, and 12” in width for rack systems. For 45U racks and above, we recommend using a 10” or 12” vertical cable manager between the cabinets, and 6” or 8” vertical cable manager on both ends of the racks.

Central Plant Panduit offers Type 110 wall mount patch panels to minimize floorprint in rooms. Panduit’s Net-Verse cabinets, fibre enclosures, and energy & asset management solutions are also available for Central Plant.

Wyr-Grid Overhead Cable Tray System The overhead cable tray system consists of four sizes of pathway sections, from 200m to 750m, and three types of sidewalls, from 50m to 150m. All components (pathway sections, sidewalls, splice connectors, sidewall waterfalls, mounting brackets, etc.) are of splicing and modular design.

The tray will maintain its physical structure and load carrying performance by making easy corners, three-way joints, four-way joints, and sidewall waterfalls without any destructive cutting.
