Over the past few months, the men of Rose Tech Triangle have continued to uphold the ideals of our fraternity, including individual improvement, academic excellence, and strengthening the bonds of brotherhood. We are excited for the opportunity to connect with our alumni and share updates on our recent achievements and activities.
Academically, Triangle brothers have maintained a standard of excellence, earning an average cumulative GPA of 3 32 placing the fraternity not only above all other Greek organizations but also higher than the student body
average. Beyond academics, the chapter has been actively engaged in philanthropy efforts, fall Rush, Homecoming, and much more! Triangle brothers extend this commitment to excellence across campus through involvement in varsity sports, clubs, and academic organizations
Even with busy schedules, our members have prioritized improvements to our chapter home. Recently, brothers have dug flower beds, laid mulch in the front yard, upgraded the backyard bonfire pit, painted multiple walls, and replaced old and damaged light fixtures.
Looking ahead, we are actively planning MAZE weekend on February 15 and are excited for upcoming events like Founder’s Day and Carnival in the spring. Triangle at Rose remains committed to upholding our fraternity’s traditions while building a community that positively impacts many lives We are incredibly grateful for the role each of you played in shaping our chapter, and we hope this newsletter provides a meaningful update.

As always, the chapter takes great pride in its strong involvement in Rose’s athletic department. Currently, 48 of our 73 brothers and pledges participate in varsity athletics, representing the chapter across six different sports: baseball, soccer, tennis, golf, track and field, and swimming
As many know, Rush is one of the most important times of the year for our chapter. The young men who are granted candidacy into Triangle will spend the next four years here and, like each pledge class before them, play a crucial
With this in mind, a tremendous amount of energy was dedicated to this year’s recruitment process in hopes of finding those who best represent the ideals of our fraternity. Events such as Laser Tag, Top Golf, and the classic Fight Night helped bring in an outstanding group of potential new members. As a result, 29 young men were welcomed to our chapter on Bid Tuesday! We are incredibly excited to see how they grow, contribute, and become better men during their time here at Rose.
Congratulations to Junior Weston Seybold for his fantastic leadership as Rush chair this fall!

"My Triangle experience has been a rewarding journey, fostering leadership skills and lifelong friendships I’ve built valuable connections with likeminded individuals, making Triangle a defining part of my college years.
I will be graduating from Rose next winter with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in structural engineering. This summer, I’m excited to intern at KPFF Cincinnati as I take the next step in my career "
"I graduated in 2017 with a degree in chemical engineering from Rose My career journey has been an exciting one I started at a biotech startup in Cincinnati before moving to San Clemente, California, to work in thin film deposition. After two years, I relocated to San Diego, where I work as a manufacturing engineer at ASML I help build modules for our Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) machines, and after nearly 2 5 years, I can confidently say I love what I do.
Beyond work, San Diego’s yearround sunshine makes it an amazing place to live ”
This year’s Homecoming was extra special as we welcomed back many alumni to celebrate Rose’s 150th anniversary! Active brothers and alumni came together to tailgate the varsity football and soccer games, reconnect at the house, and share stories both old and new.
The highlight of the weekend was our annual alumni dinner at Moggers, where we gathered to celebrate our shared experiences and the traditions that continue to shape Triangle today.
A special shoutout to the class of 2014, who returned for their tenyear reunion! It was inspiring to hear about their adventures at Rose, their achievements since graduation, and their invaluable advice on school, careers, and life. We are also incredibly grateful for their generous donation, which has already been put to use in improving house lighting Thank you, class of 2014, for your continued support and dedication to the Brotherhood of Triangle!
Mechanical Engineering, Class of 2021
"I graduated from Rose in 2021 with a degree in mechanical engineering and began my career at Milwaukee Tool While in Milwaukee, I met my fiancée, Ava, and we’ve been engaged since November 2023.
In pursuit of a new challenge, I left my job to join the U.S. Coast Guard and graduated from Officer Candidate School on October 11, 2024. I now serve as a weapons officer with the Maritime Safety and Security Team in San Pedro, California, and am working toward a career in the Coast Guard’s Deployable Specialized Forces "

The current Chapter is incredibly grateful for the generosity of our alumni in supporting the Chapter Endowment Fund. Along with the Building Better Men Grant won in 2022, these contributions have provided essential funding for chapter improvements and financial assistance.
In recent years, these funds have helped cover educational fees, purchase new chairs and furniture for the study room, and establish an online filing system with textbooks and course materials.
Looking ahead, our Spring pledge class is planning to remodel the study room as their pledge project. We hope to allocate Chapter Endowment funds to support their efforts by purchasing new flooring, whiteboards, monitors, and more enhancing our academic environment and reinforcing Triangle’s commitment to excellence.

Thank you for your continued support!
