FSCL opened nominations for the “150 Most Influential” alumni to help commemorate the 150 Year Anniversary of Greek Life at Purdue University. FSCL led the selection process with hundreds of alumni nominated. The Purdue Triangle Alumni Association nominated 24 Brothers, of which 20 were selected as honorees!

No other fraternity had more alumni honored – we tied with Sigma Chi for 1st Place, with 20 brothers named for each house.

SPRING 2025

Alumni Association President’s Letter We continue to make progress with the Actives on the 6 key objectives for 2025. However, to be frank, we still face challenges. Join us at Homecoming and learn more, but here are some highlights of the positive changes we have made and where we need to focus:

TRANSIT CLUB NEWS Chapter House is looking much better compared to the past few years. We repeatedly hear, “This is the cleanest Fraternity we have seen here on Campus!” as reported during our Fire Marshall inspection.

4) Revise New Member Education – Darrell Samuels did a tremendous job here and the new education program is in place and is being used. Great job Darrell!

1) Increase House Capacity – We set a goal of 20 Pledges for the Fall 2025 class. While our recruitment events were well attended, we completed the class with only 12 new pledges. With 20 Brothers in the Senior Class graduating this year, missing our goal for Fall pledges will present a budget challenge in the 2026/27 school year.

5) Improve Public Image with FSCL and IFC – We are making progress.

Dean Brandon Cutler at FSCL is a huge fan of Triangle; We are known in a more positive light at IFC; and, the new Executive Director from Triangle National attended our “150 Most Influential Alumni” celebration and she was enthusiastic about our Chapter.

2) Improve GPA – we made some gains; we are no longer in last place as of the Spring Semester. But we need continued improvement in this area.

6) Improve Campus Reputation – We still need improvements here. Brothers Rob Searle and Darrell Samuels will be helping the Actives channel energy to new philanthropic activities for the Actives which will help improve our campus image. Plus, our 20 Brothers

Tax Deductible Donations for House Repair Fund Needed

Homecoming Events and Annual Alumni Meeting - Saturday, October 25, 2025 The Annual Triangle Alumni Association and Housing Corporation meetings will be held on Saturday, October 25 from 9:00 – 11:00 am.

The Alumni Association meeting will be held from 9:00-10:30 and the Housing Corporation meeting will immediately follow and adjourn by 11:00 am.The meetings will be held in Lawson Hall (3rd and University) Room B155 with a Continental Breakfast to be provided.

Google Meetings will be used for on-line access for those who cannot attend the meeting in person. Web address for the video meeting: https://meet.google.com/bxa-akkw-odo Homecoming football game kickoff time is 12 noon.

Snacks and drinks will be served at the House after the game until 5:30 PM. This is an opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet with the members of the Active Chapter.

The Summer Refresh Project was very successful for improving the livability and visual appeal of both the exterior and interior of the Chapter House. However, several significant repairs are urgently needed. Additionally, we need to fund a “war chest” for unplanned emergency repairs that will be required during the next several years.

Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to the Purdue Leadership and Educational Housing Fund (PLAEH Fund) before the end of the 2025 tax year.This fund was setup just for such purposes – plus other uses to benefit the education and leadership training for the Actives. Any amount that you can donate will be greatly appreciated and will help achieve our Mission to keep Triangle a top Fraternity at Purdue!
