Marquette Golf Outing
Welcome to Fall 2026. We’re just coming off our annual Golf Outing, and I want to thank everyone that attended and participated. We had a great number for our annual meeting beforehand where our Active President, Thomas Dietz, gave a state of the chapter update. We’re all happy to see them with a strong 8-person pledge class in the fall. We know they’ve been busy with school starting up and recruitment, and all the Alumni are rooting them on. We’re still looking for additional board members, so if you think you have time, please reach out. We meet once a month virtually, with a few in person meetings sprinkled in when it’s convenient. As some of you may have seen in your email inboxes, we’re launching Chester’s Special
Barrel, an Old Forrester bourbon barrel pick in conjunction with the BSG Lounge in Grafton as a fundraiser. This 100-proof bourbon was handpicked earlier this year and will sell for $80/bottle including tax. We had our launch event October 11th at the BSG Lounge during the Packers/Bears game. They are now available for purchase directly from the BSG Lounge or through KSR. We will help facilitate delivery for those that cannot get up to Grafton. This will be a limited run of 250 cases, so don’t sleep on it. I hear they make great stocking stuffers! I wish you all a great fall and I look forward to sharing more good news in the spring. In F, S, & C, Derek Fennig marq04, KSR President

FALL 2026
Active President Chapter Update As Fall arrives, the Marquette Chapter of Triangle has been hard at work improving and expanding our chapter! Additionally, our current executive board is taking the first steps to pass the reins to the chapter's next leaders as we begin a shift towards our large group of outgoing, social, and dynamic new members. We kicked off the start of the fall semester with a bang: recruitment events, cookouts on the patio, tabling at various universitysponsored events, and many oneon-one meetups with potential new candidates. Overall, September’s recruitment efforts have been a major improvement upon past semesters. With the help of alumni Derek Fennig marq04 and Ryan Bratt marq09, as well as our new Triangle National peer mentors, Brendan White and Kincade McNamara, a total 8 new members have been pinned, have already begun new member education, and are on track to be initiated this November!
2026 National Convention
TRIANGLE FRATERNITY
This is the largest class of new candidates we have experienced since our return to campus. In addition, we already have a large pipeline of potential new candidates interested in joining the chapter in the spring of 2027, when we anticipate another large class of 8+ new members. We are very optimistic that this positive momentum will help us push towards re-chartering the chapter in the near future! Right before summer started, our chapter was voted the number one most improved fraternity on campus, and our brother, Charlie Brault, received the reward of fraternity member of the year. During the summer, we focused on recruitment strategies and restructuring our chapter to better accommodate our fall semester goals as well as our anticipated increase in members. Throughout the summer, brothers were hard at work preparing for fall as we held online meetings called “Triangle Tuesdays” to discuss how we were going to tackle this coming semester. Additionally, two brothers, Charlie Brault and Nicholas Sweeney, attended this year’s Triangle National
Convention held in Denver, Colorado, where they conversed and connected with several chapters and alumni and learned more about recruitment techniques. We plan to keep momentum going in the fall, with several professional development workshops such as public speaking and event organization. With the help of alumnnus Brandon Montalvo marq10, an alumni mentor program has been set up to allow new members to connect with alumni in their field of study. To close off, we would like to thank everyone who helped with our growth and expansion on campus, as well as specifically thank the alumni who gave their time and effort to make sure we had the necessary support to make this chapter flourish. We hope the spring semester brings just as much excitement, fun, and growth as this fall. We hope to see you soon and have a great rest of 2026! In F, S, & C, Thomas Dietz marq25 Marquette Triangle President

FALL 2026
Active Member Spotlight To help make ends meet, Charlie works part-time as a Teaching Assistant for the Educational Preparedness Program at Marquette as well as a Research Technician within the Biology department. While juggling each of his roles and responsibilities, he has been able to maintain a 3.2 GPA and make the Dean’s List (Spring 2026). And most recently, Charlie was awarded the Triangle Education Foundation’s Kapadia Scholarship. Before all of Charlie’s success at Marquette, he had to overcome a great deal of adversity: a difficult childhood, a series of unexpected life events, and a continuously unsteady home life. From each of these difficult moments in Charlie’s life, he has come out stronger and more resilient; Charlie is a fighter, and we have been fortunate to see this during his time in Triangle.
TRIANGLE FRATERNITY
He fights for the growth of our chapter, and he fights for truth amongst our members. As a member of the fraternity’s Standards Board, Charlie helps facilitate difficult conversations with other members of Triangle. This has led him to become the “in-house counselor” of Triangle. Each Triangle Active knows that if you ever need someone to talk to about challenges in life or school, Charlie is your guy. Triangle at Marquette has become Charlie’s home and he couldn’t be happier. Going forward, I am confident that Charlie will continue to make significant contributions to the fraternity. He embodies all the qualities of a Triangle Man that we hold most dear. I am proud to call Charlie a Triangle Brother and a true friend.

Career Mentoring Program The first-ever Career Mentoring Program pairs experienced Marquette alumni with new Triangle brothers for virtual one-on-one career guidance. Mentors provide career advice, networking insights, and professional development support, with a program roadmap to help guide conversations and goals. The time commitment is just three hours per month, with mentors encouraged to meet virtually with their student mentee at least once monthly. Alumni will only be matched with students whose majors or career interests align with their professional backgrounds, and mentors have the final choice to accept a match. Each mentoring relationship begins two weeks before a student's initiation and continues through graduation. Conversations may include resume and cover letter reviews, interview preparation, career fair participation, and connections to recruiters or fellow Triangle alumni. To learn more or sign up as a mentor, contact Brandon Montalvo marq10 at Brandon.89.montalvo@gmail.com or 773-431-2833. Thank you to the brothers who have already committed to serving as the program's first Career Mentors and helping support the next generation of Triangle members. 3

SUPPORT MARQUETTE’S LEGACY BY CONTRIBUTING TO OUR REVITALIZATION OR CHAPTER ENDOWMENT FUND
Both funds are restricted funds in the Triangle Education Foundation established for benefit of the Marquette Triangle Chapter. The Chapter Endowment Fund is a long term endowment account designed to provide perpetual support to the Marquette Chapter and the Revitalization Fund is a pass through account where all donations go to the immediate needs of the chapter. The chapter has access to the funds to fund their educational needs. The chapter may use the funds for scholarships, upgrades to educational spaces in the chapter house, and funding for members to attend Triangle leadership programs. The brothers, the chapter, and the house deeply appreciate your generosity; hundreds of generous brothers and friends have made their investment in the future of the Marquette Chapter of Triangle, and we still have opportunities for our most generous supporters to be recognized. Thank you for helping to support our Second Century!
