Community Partners for Child Safety
Community Partners for Child Safety is a voluntary, free, state wide service to help parents and children. The main goal of Community Partners for Child Safety is to keep children safe from abuse and neglect and to provide support for the families. Parenting can be a struggle and at times assistance is needed. Community Partners for Child Safety can be that assistance through difficult times.
Who is eligible for Community Partners? Families who reside in Gibson, Knox, Pike, Posey, Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties. The children and family cannot have an open case with the Department of Child Services or Juvenile Probation.
Families may receive assistance through:
• Home Based Services • On-call Availability • Crisis Intervention Counseling • Timely, Effective and Appropriate Prevention Support Services • Development of Family Case Plans to Include 3 Goals • Referrals to Resources and Supports Within the Community • Support and Advocacy Services Ireland collaborates with Community Partners and the Kids First Trust fund to generate funding and support for Child Abuse Prevention.
