Centerstage! THE RIVER PRAISE TEAM Thursday, 6 p.m. The River Church Praise Team is a group of local musicians whose one goal is to worship God. This group has a love of music that was born out of a desire to express love to Jesus. Each week they passionately pursue the One whose passionate pursuit of them radically changed their lives and set them free. The sound they release is marked by passion, extravagance, and freedom.

PERRY CASE

THE RIVER CHURCH IN PRAISE AND WORSHIP

PERRY CASE

E RINGS THE SMOK

Thursday, 7 p.m. Perry Case is a singer/songwriter and worship minister. As a Wabash County native (born and raised), Perry grew up in Allendale and Mount Carmel with a passion for three things: his God, his family and his music. Perry loves to sing songs about God’s love and grace and also the struggles we face in life as a child of God. His vocal style is often compared to Chris Stapleton, Zach Williams, Third day’s Mac Powell and even Travis Tritt. As the father of four children (who are also musically gifted) and the husband of wife Kristi, Perry loves to spend his time and energy putting God and his family first. He has served in several ministerial roles throughout the years in Wabash county and in Hamilton County (McLeansboro). Perry and the Case clan are residents of Jacksonville where he serves as the worship minister of First Christian Church. Throughout the past 20 years, Case has inspired many with his music bringing a blend of popular Christian and worship songs, as well as original music.

THE SMOKE RINGS Friday, 7 p.m. The Smoke Rings are an energetic rock band from the Southern Illinois/Indiana Area, that fuses the sounds of modern alternative and classic rock. The band has a long history of performing in the Midwest as well as three years playing the most famous underground clubs in New York City. The Smoke Rings pride themselves in their ability to perform challenging material and have a huge catalog of both covers and original music. Musicianship and showmanship are key attributes associated with the group. Always full of surprises the band constantly works out new material keeping each show fresh and different from the last.
