The past year has been a struggle for our residents, businesses and organizations in New Westminster. But we’ve managed to come together, as always, to show our hometown pride by lifting each other up.

We are grateful for the tremendous support we received from our customers. Being a recipient motivates our team to continue to work hard and provide the best customer service we can.
What other New Westminster businesses do you frequent? River Market - A destination for everyday foodies. Located in the heart of New Westminster a place where you can shop, eat and play next to the Fraser River.
How do you give back to the community?
We support local business and organizations providing them with discounts, we also support local school and community events.
What are your favourite things to do in New Westminster?
I enjoy having lunch at River Market. Getting food from one of the food court vendors is always a highlight in my day. Queensborough Landing – My family loves shopping here and looking for deals in outlet stores.
Where is your favourite place to go in New Westminster? Spending time at Westminster Pier Park with family. This park has amazing views with a great playground for kids. I am looking forward to when all the construction will be done in the area. It will be exciting when they reconnect the walkway to River Market. I will be getting take out to enjoy and relax at the Pier Park.

What does it mean to you and your business to be an A-List recipient?
It is an honour for us to be recognized as an A-List recipient. Our goal is to serve our clients to the best of our abilities, and also give back to the community of New Westminster. This recognition means to us that we are on the right track.
What other New Westminster businesses do you frequent?
I make a point to shop right where I work in Royal City Centre Mall, as well as other restaurants and coffee shops within close proximity.
How do you give back to the community?
A couple times per year we do a fundraiser for charity, where the clinic will match all donations from staff and clients, and 100% of the sale of a product goes to the charity. Over the years we have raised thousands of dollars for the Food Bank, Salvation Army, and Union Gospel Mission. These charities work hard to help those in need right in our community.
What are your favourite things to do in New Westminster? I enjoy Queen’s Park and Westminster Pier Park, as well as the Quay.
Where is your favourite place to go in New Westminster?
For family get-togethers we have gone to Stefanos Restaurant. It is spacious, the food is good and they give generous servings.
We are a multidisciplinary clinic offering physiotherapy, massage therapy, dietetics and clinical counselling. We have been established since 1995, and are proud to have developed over the years significant goodwill in the community at large.

What does it mean to you and your business to be an A-List recipient?
It is an honour to be selected by members of the community for this award. We try very hard to be the very best at what we do in every respect, so to be recognized by the community for our efforts is huge for us. We thank everyone for voting us favourite Eyewear Store.
What other New Westminster businesses do you frequent?
I live and work in New Westminster, so I frequent several businesses throughout this wonderful city. Since I live in Queensborough, I often find myself at the Queensborough Landing. However, I spend much more time uptown, so I am very often going to TD bank, Save-On Foods, Starbucks or Kin’s in Royal City Centre.
How do you give back to the community?
What are your favourite things to do in New Westminster?
During the summer months, it is always fun to take the Q to Q ferry from Queensborough and head to the Quay for some food or just a nice walk in the sun. Pre COVID we also used to go to the movie theatre downtown and watch movies as a family. Nowadays we spend more time taking relaxing walks on nice days which is always fun to do as a family.
Where is your favourite place to go in New Westminster?
I think my favourite place in New Westminster these days is Kin’s market in Royal City Centre. We are big eaters of fresh fruits and vegetables. My daughter plays a lot of tennis, so when we she is not training with her coaches in Surrey, she is at the public tennis courts in Queensborough with her dad, who is also one of her tennis coaches.
We at Lifetime Eyecare are committed to ensuring that the most vulnerable in our local community still have access to the highest quality eyecare possible. For that reason, we do not charge seniors and children above and beyond what MSP pays which means they pay zero dollars out of pocket. It is important to us that the most economically vulnerable folks are taken care of; we also provide discounts for students. On top of that, our company has provided scholarships over the years as well as funding for Massey Theatre.
Lifetime Eyecare is a full-service eyecare and eyewear company. We have everything from Optometrists and Eye Specialists on staff, as well as Opticians and customer service staff that specialize in helping you find the right eyeglass frame. We also offer contact lens fittings, which includes soft lenses, specialty rigid gas permeable lenses as well as the vision-adjusting Ortho-Keratology lenses (aka Ortho-K).
