Stephen Powers Assistant Golf Professional
Stephen grew up in Naperville, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Played 4 years at the University of Kentucky under head coach Brian Craig. During his time at Kentucky he finished his senior year with a stroke average of 71.94 and six top 10 finishes. Stephen is also a 4 time USGA participant with 1 US Jr. Am, 2 US Am and 1 US Mid-Am appearances. Upon graduation he went on to play mini tours and earned status on The Mackenzie Tour in 2015. After spending 5 years working in the Logistics Industry he spent 2021 as an assistant professional at Cherry Creek CC in Denver Colorado. He has moved to Kentucky with his wife Callie and dog Charlie. Please stop by the Pro Shop and get to know him better!

THE RULES OF HANDICAPPING Rule 3: Adjustment of Hole Score A score for handicap purposes should not be overly influenced by one or two bad holes which do not reflect the players ability. Incomplete scores or scores where a player did not hole out can provide reasonable evidence of the player's ability and can be adjust to fit their skill level
3.1b Max Hole Score For Handicap Posting For a player with an established handicap, the Max score for each hole is limited to net double bogey plus any strokes they would receive on that hole. Follow this link for a Video Explanation from the USGA
