Stephen Powers Assistant Golf Professional

Stephen grew up in Naperville, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.

Played 4 years at the University of Kentucky under head coach Brian Craig. During his time at Kentucky he finished his senior year with a stroke average of 71.94 and six top 10 finishes. Stephen is also a 4 time USGA participant with 1 US Jr. Am, 2 US Am and 1 US Mid-Am appearances. Upon graduation he went on to play mini tours and earned status on The Mackenzie Tour in 2015. After spending 5 years working in the Logistics Industry he spent 2021 as an assistant professional at Cherry Creek CC in Denver Colorado. He has moved to Kentucky with his wife Callie and dog Charlie. Please stop by the Pro Shop and get to know him better!

THE RULES OF THE GAME Rule 2: Scores Acceptable For Handicap Purposes The scores a player submits for handicap purposes are at the core of the calculation of their Handicap Index.

Rule 2 Covers the conditions a score must satify for it to be accebtable for handicap purposes, providing confidence that it will produce reasonable evidence of the player's ability and, ultimately, a Handicap Index that is reflective of demonstated ability.

Acceptable Scores

In an authorized format of play over at least the minimum number of holes required for either a 9 Hole or and 18 Hole score to be acceptable In the company of at least one other person, who may also act a marker On a golf course during its active season

*If one or more of the requirements is not met, the score is not acceptable for handicap purposes*
