This year, our Operation 36 Program will be split between: Play Days (5:00 PM) - $35/day 9 Holes from respective yardage Instruction + Play Days (4:30 PM) - $50/day 30 minutes of instruction followed by 9 holes from respective yardage

IHJA Little Linksters The most fun your Little Linkster will have on the golf course all year! Every year we teach fundamental golf skills along with other sporting activities. Games, contests and prizes will surely keep the youngsters engaged and having FUN!

Requirements: for 11 and under division: Play from Forward Tee Able to play full 9 holes Can carry or use a push cart No caddies Keep pace of play Knowledge of tending to the golf course
Junior Golf Lessons Junior Golf Lessons are a great way for one on one instruction with one of our Golf Professionals. The most beneficial lesson for Juniors is one that is 30 minutes long. This is the perfect amount of time to learn specific skills/techniques of the game. Rate: $30/30 minutes
Buddy Golf Buddy Golf is a new program for Idle Hour Country Club. Grab a friend and go out on the golf course with one of our Golf Professionals. Juniors will learn etiquette, pace of play, and how to play the game. Rate: $55/1 hour
For those Junior Golfers ready to make their debut into solo competition, look no further than the Kentucky Junior Golf Tour. Run by Golf House Kentucky and in association with the Kentucky PGA Section, this tour offers the chance for Juniors to compete in a traditional golf format against others from around the state.

A joint initiative founded in 2013 by the Masters Tournament, United States Golf Association and The PGA of America, Drive, Chip and Putt is a free nationwide junior golf development competition aimed at growing the game by focusing on the three fundamental skills employed in golf. By tapping the creative and competitive spirit of girls and boys ages 7-15, Drive, Chip and Putt provides aspiring junior golfers an opportunity to play with their peers in qualifiers around the country. Participants who advance through local, sub-regional and regional qualifying in each age/gender category earn a place in the National Finals, which is conducted at Augusta National Golf Club the Sunday before the Masters Tournament and is broadcast live by Golf Channel.
