Family-run financial planning business raises £26K for charity
VT Wealth, run by Vee Thom and her husband George, raised the sum for Friends of ANCHOR by hosting a glittering ball at Aberdeen’s Chester Hotel, featuring music from the renowned Celtic Brothers.
They were joined on the bill by Irish singer/songwriter Fergal Flaherty, who performed a toe-tapping set which delighted guests.
Boosting the total raised on the night were an auction, superbly facilitated by MC Ian Thain, and raffle made possible thanks to the generosity of donations from VT Wealth’s friends, clients and business associates.

Jersey Boys, the smash hit musical that has racked up 65 major awards and has been seen by over 27 million people worldwide is coming to HMT. We have two pairs of tickets to give away for the show which runs from February 7-11.
Jersey Boys is the electrifying story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, but while their harmonies were perfect on stage, off stage it was a very different story.
