While crafting this spectacular interior, the designer came across a daunting challenge: ceiling heights. High ceilings have always gone hand in hand with luxe living, but they were nowhere to be found on the property. To combat this, ceilings were physically heightened wherever possible and LED strip lights were used to wash the ceiling to create the illusion of augmented space. These lights not only visually raise the ceiling level but also create an understated sense of calm.

THE "ILLUSTRIOUS" KNIGHTS BRIDGE MANOR

A Sensorial Experience Filled with Harmony and Majesty Designed by The Studio HOME’SOCIETY x BRABBU, this apartment (301,52 m2 | 3 245,53 sqft), located in Knightsbridge, London, is filled with unique design choices that create an intense environment, unlike anything ever seen.

Pure living art is the perfect definition for this project, which evokes various emotions, such as harmony and visual thrills.

This project, thought for a couple and their son, proves to be a sensorial masterpiece, where luxury can embrace all these emotions and provide unforgettable experiences.

London is known for the city where royalty lives, which had a great influence on the home’s striking visuals, providing a royal sense of luxury through all the shapes and forms and offering majesty and perfection to the project.

Born in Vietnam but living in Madrid, Viet Ha Tran started her artistic career in 2013 with fine art photography and launched herself through abstract paintings in 2018.

Viet Ha Tran emphasizes fantasy and imagination in her art as a source of aesthetic experience. More than taking photos, she shows inner dreams, and intimacy that combined create an ephemeral moment of emotions. In recent years, the artist changed its focus from portrait photography to landscape and nature photography in a mission to capture the beauty of the natural elements.

“European Snow I” was created on a winter trip to Austria while “The Temple of Love” rises from a visit to the Taj Mahal (India). Viet Ha Tran usually prefers color photography but for these artworks, her idea was to create a nostalgic and mysterious ambiance enhanced by the absence of color.

Despite being a photograph taken in Europe, the “European Snow I” is inspired by the traditional Chinese/Japanese black and white landscape ink paintings which are part of the Asian arts and culture. Regarding “The Temple of Love”, the artist thought about the meaning of the masterpiece for its composition: Taj Mahal is known as the temple of love. As such, the black and white tones enhance the white marble that covers all the monuments and the falling star was added to empower the feeling of dream, love and romanticism, typically associated with the works of Viet Ha Tran.
