Tom Coleman Director, USA Ltd/USSR Ltd
Tom is currently a director of both USA Ltd and USSR Ltd who are specialist survey and rehabilitation contractors. Having graduated from UCD in 1992 with a B.Eng Civil Engineering, Tom started his career at Edmund Nuttall, gaining valuable experience in contracting and temporary works design.
Since joining USA ltd / USSR Ltd in 1995, he has been involved in the development and promotion of No-Dig techniques and supported the development of specialised bespoke equipment to solve site specific installation issues. He has also been to the forefront of developing techniques in conjunction with Swedish and Austrian suppliers to enable blind shot and mains to lateral UV lining.
Francis Finnerty National Strategic Planning Manager, Uisce Éireann
Francis is the National Strategic Planning Manager for Wastewater in the Asset Strategy section of Uisce Eireann (Irish Water). He has responsibility for integrated urban wastewater planning in Uisce Eireann, with a current focus on policy and new legislative drivers including the recast of the Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive. Francis has over 30 years of experience working in the water sector in Ireland - from large catchment strategic planning to modelling and design largely in the urban drainage area - having previously spent time employed by a local authority, an engineering consultant and surveying & sewer rehabilitation contractors.

John Griffin Head of Wastewater Capital Delivery, Northern Ireland Water
John is currently Head of Wastewater Capital Delivery (Infra) in Northern Ireland Water and has worked for Northern Ireland Water for over 22 years. A Chartered Civil Engineer and Member of CIWEM he currently leads the team responsible for sewerage pumping station and sewerage upgrades. While he has worked in various posts within NIW he has primarily worked in Wastewater Treatment but also developed and implemented the Environmental Management System. His most recent work has been the development of greener wastewater treatment solutions such as Integrated Constructed Wetlands as well as working building NIWs 1st Nereda Plant and piloting Biofermentation.

Kevin Harrington Project Manager, Uisce Éireann
Kevin is a Project Manager with Uisce Éireann, overseeing wastewater infrastructure projects in the Northwest Region. Since joining the Wastewater Below Ground (WWBG) team in September 2023, he has been responsible for managing CCTV surveys and rehabilitation works on gravity sewers.
He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Sligo IT (ATU) and has extensive experience in water and wastewater infrastructure. Prior to joining Uisce Éireann, Kevin worked as a Senior Resident Engineer on Capital Works Programmes, supervising the construction of wastewater treatment plants in Mayo and Roscommon, as well as water upgrade projects in Sligo and Longford.
Paddy Mallon is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS) with 39 years of experience in the design, development, manufacture, integration, and testing of low-speed and supersonic airframes.
He studied Aeronautical Engineering at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB), graduating in 1986, and later earned an MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2003.
Throughout his career, Paddy has held key leadership roles, including Senior Thales Expert for Missiles and Chief Engineer on numerous programs. In 2018, he founded Bradan Developments, applying his expertise in complex systems to advance leak detection and inspection technologies for water mains, reservoirs, and open water.
An innovator with multiple patents, Paddy has published extensively at both national and international conferences. He is a member of Matrix, the scientific and industrial advisory body to the Department for the Economy (DfE).

Iain is Chair of the UKSTT Technical and Education Committee and is a member of the T&E Committee of the International Society for Trenchless Technology.
He is a Senior Research Fellow at IKT - Institute for Underground Infrastructure, the German not-for-profit engineering research institute that investigates extending the life of ageing sewer infrastructure and the management of urban drainage.
Ross Orderly
Project Manager, McAllister Bros Ltd
Ross is a Project Manager at McAllister Bros Ltd, a specialist survey and rehabilitation contractor. With over 10 years of experience in CCTV surveys and sewer rehabilitation, he has overseen projects for Uisce Éireann and Northern Ireland Water. Holding a HND in Civil Engineering, Ross has specialised in UV-cured CIPP lining since joining McAllister Bros in 2020. Most recently, he successfully delivered the Athlone Sewer Rehabilitation contract for Uisce Éireann, utilising CIPP lining to rehabilitate large-diameter non-circular sewers.

Adrian Petticrew
OBE MRICS, Head of Commercial (NI), Kier Group
Adrian is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, involved in the Civil Engineering and Utilities sector. With over 26 years’ experience with Kier in Northern Ireland, he has worked extensively on collaborative frameworks and projects with leading energy companies and NI Water with a value in excess of £750m.
He also worked as part of a team across Scotland and England delivering major infrastructure projects including windfarms, electrical networks and provision of utility services on Edinburgh Trams.
Key achievements have included the establishment and maintenance of the NI Gas Engineering Materials Supply Chain Alliance which was established in 2001 and achieved a European Supply Chain Award for its innovative and collaborative approach to procuring and effectively managing a complex inventory of safety critical components and materials. Currently leading commercially on a £150m project to expand and enhance the Belfast Wastewater Treatment Works.
