AN EXTRAORDINARY ECO-CEMENT History repeats itself: “pozzolanic� cement made Rome and its empire great, it allowed the construction of aqueduct, roads and large buildings which are still among us after 2000 years. A practical, efficient and resistant material, cement was the basis upon which the arts and science were born, which shaped antiquity and built our great history and society.

Now as then, and after some industrial revolutions, the science of materials has not finished surprising us and has a new technological leap in store for us that will evolve the industrial world towards new and important objectives.

The first is an ecological one, understood as energy saving and reduction of polluting emissions that produce the greenhouse effect. This is followed by the quality of a material that does not deteriorate over time, to avoid situations such as the "Morandi" bridge which, due to the porosity of the concrete, allowed moisture to penetrate and weaken the steel of the reinforcement with catastrophic consequences.

This new cement is made with specific and different minerals that are much more widespread and not exploited for now, thus allowing us to avoid the high costs of raw materials subject to international monopolies.

It is interesting to know that the cement factory for this new material can be small, almost "pocket-sized" as the cooking oven needs not reach the 1700 degrees required in the normal large ovens with refractory walls and very high consumption but ... it only requires 500 degrees Celsius (the temperature for cooking a pizza) a technology therefore of lower cost and minimum consumption and consequently less pollution. It is therefore possible to manufacture ovens for only 250 tons of material a day in almost any place in the world.

This does not only have a theoretical or academic importance, but it allows us to reconsider the logistics that lead to concrete, from the transport of cement (sensitive to humidity) or to bagging. For example, the cement factory could be positioned near a dam construction, and raw minerals at various levels of pulverization would travel in bulk, with a lower transportation cost.

The cost of all this? Incredible but true: this super-cement costs much less than the classic "Portland", exceeding it in all its technical and chemical characteristics.

Furthermore, the price will decrease further, with increased production in multiple cement factories.

The innovation that gave birth to this material is part of a series of studies for the creation of "nano-technology" based materials that will revolutionize the world of metallurgy mechanics and chemistry in general. This cementitious material (which does not yet have a name) is complete in its experimentation and application. It can be used and behaves in the same way as classic cement, surpassing it in all its characteristics.

Large investors will soon arrive for other materials, especially for those based on basalt which in its application will replace: steel, aluminum, plastic etc .. but for now, we have this super cement which has its own singularity and can be managed and proposed independently of everything else.

We will provide some technical indications such as the compressive strength of bio concrete of over 500 kg / cm2 (better than Portland), traction: it lends itself to be reinforced with iron rods that are "wrapped" and protected for over 200 years from humidity, oxygen or other preventing the degradation of the armor over the centuries. The color is slightly different from normal cement and the setting times are adjustable.

It would seem a trivial matter, but it can be used in 3D printers to build buildings.

Specifically, the problem of overlapping the layers has been solved, in fact in the multiple passages of the cursor-distributor of the 3d machine the underlying material is already compacted to support the weight of the next layer.

Naturally, it can also be used in forms and vacuum moulds and it lends itself to being vibrated.

Having control over the compaction time is fundamental in many applications, including those for future concepts. Finally, in confirmation of what has been said above, it is emphasized that all its basic materials such as pulverized mineral or binders are widespread in nature and without contraindications or dangers, so much so that we could call it an "ecological cement" or "eco-cement".

PROPOSAL This brief presentation serves to make it clear that we are dealing with a very interesting material that will have, in a very short time, an economic success for those who buy into this new product without technical, practical or economic defects.

Those who adopt this material, proposed as an alternative to normal cement, will enjoy a "technological advantage" that will beat the competition in every contract, both in terms of final product and for savings on the material itself and on simplified logistics, and will be recognized as ecologically wise. The environmental factor in the coming years will be the real main discriminator in gaining contracts for the award of important projects.

Our goals are short, medium and long term. The first objective is to create a mini-cement factory in Albania that can produce a maximum of 150 tons per day using the material from the local quarries. In parallel, a full-field application experimentation will take place with reduced costs and fast solutions aimed at difficult applications where higher static and mechanical characteristics are required.

Once the technical launch phase is over, and some experiences are gained, the next step will be to certify the product becoming in fact the alternative to normal cement in all constructions, in particular the technically challenging ones. The company itself will have a prospect of enthusiastic development in particular in the construction of small and medium-sized cement factories in record time. In fact, investors love versatile and pragmatic engineering solutions that adapt to varying situations. A company with such characteristics, on the stock exchange, would have a significant boom rewarding the first investors who believed in this material.

All it is asked in essence, especially for those in the cement sector, is to meet Eng. Maksim Sallabanda, owner of the project and verify with him the very high quality of his studies and experiments, with him create samples by hand and quickly understand the scope of what described above by starting the construction of the first eco-cement factory. All this must happen in a short time, before the big basalt investors (who are expected in the summer) are ready to finance all composite materials, their financial relevance will then exclude other actors in the development program and consequently all the various composite products. They will be taken over by large industrial groups with licenses and protective patents.
