Local context

Taupo has a population 24,700 swelling to in excess of 80,000 in the summer months. Popular during both the summer and winter months, our town has over time, become a destination. There are a mix of section sizes and potential for purchasers amongst both stages one and two. Eight sections allow for a two storey dwelling which gives a purchaser the opportunity to build for the views over the lake and mountain. We believe this should be reflected in valuing those sections.

Subdivision naming

Taupo is run in partnership with the Taupo District Council and the Tuwharetoa Maori Trust. In the last 10 years it’s noted that subdivisions seem to be named using Te Reo. In very recent times our street names have also been altered to reflect Te Reo.
