On 1 June 2016, the series ‘The Treflik Family’ premiered on TVP ABC, the largest public children’s channel in Poland. Since then, the series has been continuously broadcast on television in Poland and many other countries around the world. The safe and valuable content and the artistry with which the series was made meant that the adventures of the Trefliks quickly won the hearts of young viewers and were appreciated by psychologists and experts in the children’s industry.

Świętuj z nami 10 lat Rodziny Treﬂików!

The Trefliks quickly went from being favourite fairy-tale characters to favourite characters in toys and books on shop shelves. During this time, they became a permanent fixture in homes, nurseries and schools as characters in best-selling board games, led by the Spy Guy series, puzzles, toys and books. To mark the 10th anniversary of the series, Trefl has prepared a special anniversary offer, and throughout 2026 we will be celebrating the anniversary together with fans of the series in consumer competitions, on social media and at events throughout Poland.

About KAZstudio

O KAZstudio

KAZstudio, belonging to the Trefl Group, is a leading Polish film studio specializing in stop-motion animation. Founded in 2013 in Gdynia by Kazimierz Wierzbicki, it focuses on creating animations for preschool children and their families.

Among the studio’s most notable projects are the television series Rodzina Treflików (The Treflik Family) and its spin-off for younger audiences, Bobaski i Miś (Babies and the Bear). These animations are directed by the acclaimed, Oscar-winning director Marek Skrobecki, known for productions such as Ichthys, Danny Boy, and awarded with Oscar Peter and the Wolf. The official The Treflik Family channel on YouTube only gained 25 million views in Poland. In 2024, the studio produced its first cinema movie, Treflix. Bauble Trouble, premiered in Poland, Sweden and France.

KAZstudio boasts a team of talented animators, a workshop with set design and puppet-making artists, lighting and camera technicians, and a post-production department. Since 2022, the studio has expanded its resources with a 2D/3D animation team. The studio features 11 small film sets, one large set for shooting on expansive stages, and its dubbing studio.

In addition to producing animated series, KAZstudio also creates advertising spots. Studio’sunique content contributes to the development of the Polish animation industry on the global market.

Studio zostało założone w 2013 roku w Gdyni przez Kazimierza Wierzbickiego i koncentruje się na tworzeniu rodzinnej animacji, skierowanej szczególnie do dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym.

Do najważniejszych projektów studia należą serial telewizyjny „Rodzina Treflików” oraz jego spin-off skierowany do młodszej widowni „Bobaski i Miś”. Animacje te są reżyserowane przez cenionego reżysera Marka Skrobeckiego, znanego z takich produkcji jak „Ichthys”, „Danny Boy”, czy nagrodzony Oscarem film animowany „Piotruś i Wilk”. Tylko w Polsce oficjalny kanał Rodziny Treflików na YouTube notuje 25 milionów wyświetleń. W listopadzie 2024 roku światową premierę miał pierwszy film kinowy studia, „Trefliki ratują Święta”.

KAZstudio tworzy zespół utalentowanych animatorów artystów scenografii i lalkarstwa, techników oświetlenia, operatorów oraz profesjonalny dział postprodukcji. Od 2022 roku KAZstudio poszerzyło swoje zasoby o zespół animacji 2D/3D. Obecnie studio posiada 11 małych oraz 1 duży plan filmowy, umożliwiający realizację ujęć na bardzo dużych scenografiach oraz własne studio dubbingowe.

Artistic Team – KAZstudio collaborates with many talented professionals in the field of animation, who boast international success and accolades.

The studio also engages other key figures in projects with international reach, solidifying its position as a leader in Polish animation.

Studio angażuje również inne kluczowe postacie w projekty o zasięgu międzynarodowym, umacniając swoją pozycję lidera w polskiej animacji.

Kazimierz Wierzbicki – The founder of the studio, who, although not directly involved in animation creation, has significantly contributed to the development of the Polish animation industry through his vision and dedication.

Marek Skrobecki – an Oscar-winning director, known for works such as Ichthys, Danny Boy, and Peter and the Wolf. Skrobecki directs the studio’s productions, including The Treflik Family and Babies and the Bear, bringing his expertise and artistic mastery to these projects.

Grzegorz Handzlik – director, animator, and producer, involved in animation since 1975. Co-creator of the legendary animated series Bolek and Lolek, co-founder of Hanna-Barbera Poland – the first branch of the American studio in Central and Eastern Europe – and founder of Orange animation studio, where he produced 600 episodes of animated series and 7 feature films. He was the producer of, among others, the film King Matt the First and the adventure series Mr. Toti. His tremendous contribution to the development of Polish animation laid the foundation for future generations of creators. He has been awarded the European Medal twice for his co-productions.

Grzegorz Handzlik – reżyser, animator i producent, związany z animacją od 1975 roku. Współtwórca legendarnego serialu animowanego „Bolek i Lolek”, współzałożyciel Hanna-Barbera Polska – pierwszego oddziału amerykańskiego studia w Europie Środkowej i Wschodniej – oraz założyciel studia animacji Orange, gdzie wyprodukował 600 odcinków seriali animowanych i 7 filmów pełnometrażowych. Producent m.in. filmu Król Matt Pierwszy oraz serialu przygodowego Pan Toti. Jego ogromny wkład w rozwój polskiej animacji położył podwaliny pod przyszłe pokolenia twórców. Dwukrotnie został odznaczony Medalem Europejskim za koprodukcje.

Michał Bystry – project manager with extensive experience in the film and television industry. He has worked on major Polish films and series for Netflix, HBO, and TVN, collaborating with Papaya Films and Endemol Shine. A graduate of the Warsaw Film School, he is responsible for producing KAZstudio’s latest films and series, overseeing every stage of the process.

Michał Bystry – kierownik projektu z bogatym doświadczeniem w branży filmowej i telewizyjnej. Pracował przy dużych polskich filmach i serialach dla Netflixa, HBO i TVN, współpracując z Papaya Films i Endemol Shine. Absolwent Warszawskiej Szkoły Filmowej, odpowiada za produkcję najnowszych filmów i seriali w KAZstudio, koordynując każdy etap procesu.

Anna Dobrowodzka – film editor and visual artist. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk and the Polish National Film School in Łódź, where she earned her master’s degree in film editing. She has been collaborating with KAZstudio for years, editing and color grading all productions featuring the Treflix characters.

Absolwentka Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Gdańsku oraz Państwowej Wyższej Szkoły Filmowej w Łodzi, gdzie uzyskała tytuł magistra montażu filmowego.
