Terms Account
• To be considered for terms, a properly completed credit application form subject to approval must be submitted. All orders will be shipped on a COD basis until terms can be established. Once approved, the introductory credit amount is $10,000 and standard payment terms will be Net 30.
• Terms requests require one (1) week to be reviewed and approved, and COD payment options are available in the interim.
Delinquent Accounts
We request all accounts to be kept within your terms. Should an account become overdue, a soft hold will be triggered and an attempt to resolve the issue will be made. Tree of Life Canada reserves the right to stop shipment should any account reach 60 days overdue. Any past due accounts that are not resolvable will be submitted to an agency for collection. Any legal and collection fees incurred must be paid by the customer prior to future business.

Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard only), Cash, EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) or Debit Card (Debit in Surrey and Mississauga office/warehouse only).
Minimum Order Requirements
• Minimum order for Natural & Organic, Specialty & Gourmet, Fresh & Deli, and standard Food Service products must reach a combined total of $750.
• A separate order for Frozen must be placed for all frozen brands totaling a minimum of $1000 or more for shipping. Frozen minimums are $1200 for Food Service items.
• A minimum order for Frozen in Atlantic Canada and Northwest Territories must reach a combined total of $2400.
Guaranteed Dating Policy
• Most products will be shipped out with no less than 60 days remaining.
• Exception brands:
– Bakery, Confectionary, and cereals will be shipped with no less than 40 days remaining.
– Natural, chips, breads and snacks will be shipped out with no less than 30 days remaining.
– Deli & Cheese Brands will be shipped with no less than 30 days remaining. An exemption of 15 days remaining will be applied to our fresher cheese products such as Brie, as well as all Agropur products.
Credits and Returns FAQ)
• It is the responsibility of the customer receiving to inspect all products at the time of delivery.
• Tree of Life Canada will review any claim made within 48 hours of delivery. Credit claims are subject to approval by a Tree of Life representative prior to credit being issued.

• What is Eligible for credit claims:
– Any product that is received at time of delivery in unsellable condition must be noted on the invoice or bill of lading.
– Product that has damaged packaging, freezer burnt, thawed, unsealed, mouldy, and damage occurred during transit must be documented at the time of receiving on the Tree of Life Canada invoice or bill of lading and submitted within 48 hours of delivery.
– Short shipment documentation at time of receiving on the Tree of Life invoice or bill of lading
• What is NOT Eligible for credit claims:
– Tree of Life is not responsible for any spoilage due to a compromised store fridge/freezer temperature, unit breakdowns or power failures.
– Poor stock rotation and front filling products by the customer
– Claims set against customer relines. Tree of Life representatives will work with stores to stop ordering products prior to reline dates.
– Claims on products where the customer is utilizing multiple suppliers.
– Fresh products which develop mold or are compromised in-store.
– Store dated product, which has expired, that was received in accordance with the Tree of Life Guaranteed Dating Policy
– Short Shipment claims after an order is counted, signed, and received in good condition.
• Any items to be claimed must be retained for inspection by a Tree of Life representative in order to be authorized for credit at invoice cost. Please do not dispose of any product until directed by a Tree of Life representative.
– Tree of Life Canada does NOT have a guaranteed sales program for our products. Product rotation is the responsibility of the customer.

Stonetown Artisan Cheese is an on-farm cheese plant located in St. Marys, Ontario. Co-owners and founders of Stonetown Artisan Cheese, Hans and Jolanda Weber immigrated from Switzerland in 1996 with their three children to start their own dairy farm. It was always their dream to produce delicious, high-quality cheese reminiscent of the renowned Swiss Mountains and made from their own milk. In 2014, Stonetown Artisan Cheese was founded with the support of Ramon Eberle, Master Cheesemaker & Coowner from Switzerland. Since then, their cheese making process remains very similar to how cheese has been made for centuries in the mountain dairies in the Swiss Alps.
2025 was an incredible year for Stonetown Artisan Cheese, winning the top prize for the cheese cheese competition at SIAL Canada.
named Grand Champion in the international cheese competition that included approximately 200 cheese entries from around the world.
Wildwood was also a winning cheese in this competition, the Category Champion in the Firm Cheese Category, and was also awarded a special prize for the Best Canadian Cow Milk cheese, by Dairy Farmers of Canada.
Hans Weber adds “Wildwood is unique in that the curds are washed in the make process, which results in a creamier cheese, and the rind is carefully nurtured just over a year, by washing and brushing it with wine yeasts. The aromatic rind gives the cheese a contrasting texture to the interior and typical aromas associated with washed rind cheeses. Wildwood is named after the Wildwood Dam in St. Marys.”

How to Order

Terms Account
• Consideration for terms requires a completed credit application form subject to approval. All orders will be shipped on a COD basis until terms can be established. Once approved, the introductory credit amount of $3,000 and standard payment terms of Net-15 will be instituted.

Delinquent Accounts
All accounts must be kept in good standing, within the established terms. Should an account become overdue, a soft hold will be triggered and an attempt to resolve the issue will be made. Legacy Distributors Inc. reserves the right to stop shipment should any account reach 60 days overdue. Any past-due accounts that are not resolvable will be submitted to an agency for collection. Any legal and collection fees incurred must be paid by the customer prior to any future business.

Cash/Cheques or EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) only.
Minimum Order Requirements
• A minimum order for GTHA (Greater Toronto-Hamilton Area) must reach a combined total of $500.
• A minimum order for non-GTHA must reach a combined total of $750-$1,000. Please contact your Legacy Distributors Sales Representative or the Customer Care Department to place orders and additional information about the minimum order requirements.
Credits and Returns FAQ
• It is the responsibility of the customer receiving to inspect all products at the time of delivery.
• Legacy Distributors Inc. will review any claim made within 2 business days of delivery. Credit claims are subject to approval by a Legacy Distributors Inc. representative before credit being issued.

• Eligibility for credit claims:
– Any products received in an unsellable condition at the time of delivery must be noted on the invoice or bill of lading.
– Product that has damaged packaging, freezer burnt, thawed, unsealed, mouldy, and damage occurred during transit must be documented at the time of receiving on the Legacy Distributors Inc. invoice or bill of lading and submitted within 2 business days of delivery.
– Short shipments must be documented at the time of receiving on the Legacy Distributors Inc. invoice or bill of lading.
• What is NOT Eligible for credit claims:
– Legacy Distributors Inc. is not responsible for any spoilage due to compromised storage conditions, fridge/freezer temperature, unit breakdowns, or power failures.
– Poor stock rotation and front-filling products by the customer.
– Claims set against customer relines.
Legacy Distributors Inc. representatives will work with stores to stop ordering products before relining dates.
– Claims on products where the customer is utilizing multiple suppliers.
– Fresh products that develop mold or are compromised in-store, after the date of delivery.
– Short-dated products ordered as-is, which has since expired after the date of delivery.
– Short Shipment claims after an order is counted, signed, and received in good condition.
• Any items being claimed must be retained for inspection by a Legacy Distributors Inc. representative to be authorized for credit at invoice cost. Please do not dispose of any product until directed by a Legacy Distributors Inc. representative.
– Legacy Distributors Inc. does NOT have a guaranteed sales program for our products. Product rotation is the responsibility of the customer.
