Message from Matt

As we reflect on the last year, I want to recognize the incredible efforts across our office. Our teams have strengthened operations, improved public service, and enhanced our workplace community.

• This year, we streamlined recruitment and advancement by removing the AAI/AAII exam requirement, and HR now oversees all onboarding to ensure consistent completion, faster integration, and stronger workforce readiness.

• Our Public Services staff continued to impress, providing professional, patient, and helpful service to taxpayers. Between December 1–10, 2025, more than 9,000 taxpayers visited our offices, over 6,000 calls were answered, and Palm Desert staff responded to more than 900 emails.

• Kiosk operations were another highlight, with Treasury and CREST staff working together to process $3.1 million through the kiosk systems. From guiding taxpayers to balancing cash and restocking machines, their teamwork ensured smooth and efficient operations.

• The FCU team also excelled, keeping the snack shack stocked for our Christmas Party fundraiser and leading the annual United Way campaign to support local families, education, and community programs.

• Finally, our newly refreshed break room, conference room, and bathrooms are brighter, cleaner, and more functional spaces designed to support both daily operations and employee well-being.

Thank you to every team member for your dedication, professionalism, and teamwork. Your efforts make a real difference for our office, our coworkers, and the public we serve!
