Siguiendo normas internacionales de seguridad, antes del despegue, nuestra tripulación auxiliar realizará una demostración sobre el uso de mascarillas de oxígeno, chalecos salvavidas y localización de salidas de emergencia. Following international safety standards, our cabin crew will carry out a pre-flight demonstration in order to show you the location and use of oxygen masks, life jackets and emergency exits. Please read the safety pamphlet stored in the seat pocket in front of you.

Evelop acepta una bolsa de equipaje de mano en todos sus vuelos, incluyendo los realizados dentro de territorio español. Las dimensiones del equipaje de mano no pueden exceder de 50 x 45 x 25 cms. Y su peso no debe superar 10 kgs. No obstante, elementos como libros de bolsillo, prendas de abrigo, paraguas o bastón serán aceptados a bordo sin necesidad de ser etiquetados ni pesados.

Evelop allows passengers to bring only one piece of hand luggage onboard which should not exceed the following dimensions and weight: 50 x 45 x 25 cms, and weight cannot exceed more than 10 kgs. However objects such as paperback books, coats, umbrellas or walking sticks can be brought onboard without previously being weighed or labelled.

Desde el 6 de Noviembre de 2006 la Unión Europea ha adoptado nuevas medidas de seguridad restringiendo la cantidad de líquidos o sustancias similares que los pasajeros pueden llevar consigo al pasar los controles de seguridad de los aeropuertos Europeos. Para más información consulte con la tripulación de cabina.

Since 6th November 2006, the EU has adopted new security measures restricting the quantity of liquids or similar substances which passengers can take with them to go through the security controls of European airports. For more information please ask our cabin crew.

En nuestros vuelos intercontinentales y europeos y en todos los que tienen origen o destino Canarias, disponemos de música y cine a bordo. Para poder disfrutarlo le ofrecemos auriculares al precio de 3 Euros. Estos auriculares son compatibles con la mayoría de aparatos electrónicos.

A comprehensive selection of audio and video programmes are available to our passengers on all intercontinental flights and most European flights from mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands, and the Canary Islands. In order to enjoy this service, headsets are available on request at the price of 3 Euros. These headsets are compatible with most electronic systems.

Medidas de seguridad Safety measures Desde el 6 de Noviembre del 2006, la Unión Europea (UE) ha adoptado nuevas medidas de seguridad que restringen la cantidad de líquidos o sustancias de consistencia similar que los pasajeros pueden llevar consigo cuando pasan los controles de seguridad de los aeropuertos comunitarios. Estas medidas son aplicables a todos los pasajeros que salgan de los aeropuertos de la UE, independientemente de su destino. Las nuevas medidas no limitan la adquisición por los pasajeros de estos líquidos o sustancias en las tiendas situadas más allá del punto de control donde usted muestra su tarjeta de embarque o a bordo de las aeronaves operadas por una aerolínea de la UE. Since 6th November 2006, the European Union has adopted new security measures restricting the volume of liquids or similar substances which passengers are allowed to carry with them through security controls in European airports. These measures are applicable to all passengers leaving EU airports, regardless of their destination. However, the new measures do not limit passengers from obtaining these liquids or substances from shops situated beyond the control point where a boarding pass must be shown, or onboard aircraft operated by a EU airline.

¿Qué es nuevo? Mientras hace su equipaje:

Sólo le está permitido llevar en su equipaje de mano pequeñas cantidades de líquidos. Estos líquidos tienen que ir en pequeños contenedores con una capacidad individual máxima de 100ml. Cada pasajero tiene que empaquetar estos contenedores en una bolsa transparente de plástico con autocierre de no más de un litro de capacidad máxima, para facilitar la inspección de estos productos en los controles de seguridad. Los pasajeros deberán proveerse de dichas bolsas antes del inicio de su viaje. A efectos de las nuevas medidas, se consideran líquidos: • Agua y otras bebidas, sopas, jarabes • Cremas, lociones y aceites, incluida la pasta de dientes • Perfumes • Gel, como por ejemplo, gel de ducha o champú • Contenidos de contenedores presurizados, incluido espuma de afeitar, otras espumas y desodorantes • Aerosoles • Cualquier otro de consistencia similar

En el aeropuerto

Usted tiene que: • Presentar todos los líquidos dentro de la bolsa citada, separadamente del equipaje de mano, y colocarla en la bandeja proporcionada al efecto en los controles de seguridad, para su examen por parte de los empleados de seguridad. • Quitarse su chaqueta y/o abrigo y colocarlos en la bandeja. Estas prendas tendrán que ser examinadas separadamente mientras usted es inspeccionado. • Sacar su ordenador portátil y cualquier otro dispositivo electrónico de dimensiones similares de sus fundas correspondientes, y colocarlos en la bandeja para que sean inspeccionados separadamente de dichas fundas en los controles de seguridad.

¿Qué no cambia? Usted puede todavía:

• Llevar los productos autorizados, incluidos los líquidos y sustancias relacionados en el apartado anterior, en las maletas que usted factura; las nuevas medidas sólo afectan al equipaje de mano. • Llevar en su equipaje de mano medicinas y comida para bebés, para su uso durante el viaje, presentándolos separadamente en los controles de seguridad, pero no dentro de la bolsa transparente. • Comprar líquidos como bebidas y perfumes, bien en cualquier tienda de los aeropuertos de la UE cuando éstas estén situadas más allá del punto de control de seguridad o bien a bordo de una aeronave operada por una aerolínea europea. Si estos productos son vendidos en bolsas selladas, no las abra hasta que no haya finalizado su viaje. Si usted va a continuar su viaje en otro aeropuerto de la UE, no abra esta bolsa sellada hasta que haya salido del último aeropuerto comunitario. Todos estos líquidos son adicionales a las cantidades de la bolsa de plástico mencionada anteriormente.

What is new? While preparing your luggage:

Only small amounts of liquid are allowed to be carried in the hand luggage. Such liquids must be transported in small containers, with an individual maximum capacity of 100ml. Each passenger must package these containers in a self-sealing, transparent, plastic bag, of no more than one-litre capacity to facilitate inspection of these products at security controls. Passengers must obtain such bags before beginning their journey. Liquids include: • Water and other drinks, soups, syrups • Creams, lotions and oils, including toothpaste • Perfumes • Gels, such as shower gel or shampoo • Content of pressurised containers, including shaving foam and other foams and deodorants • Aerosols • Any other substance of a similar consistency

At the airport

You must: • All liquids must be presented within the aforementioned bag, separately from hand luggage and placed in the tray provided for that purpose by security controls, to be examined by the security personnel. • Passengers must remove their jacket and/or coat and place them in a tray. These garments must be examined separately during the inspection. • Passengers must remove their laptop computer or any other electronic device of similar dimensions from its case, and place it in a tray to be inspected separately from its case at security controls.

What does not change? You still can:

• Carry authorized products, including liquids and similar substances mentioned in the previous section, in your checked baggage; the new measures only affect hand luggage. • Carry medicines and baby food in your hand luggage, for use during the trip, presenting them separately at the security controls, but not in a transparent bag. • Buy liquids such as beverages and perfumes from shops situated beyond the control point or on board aircrafts operated by an EU airline. If these products are sold in sealed bags, do not open them until your trip is finished. If you are going to continue your trip to another EU airport, do not open the sealed bag until you have left the last EU airport. All these liquids are additional to the quantities mentioned above for the plastic bag.

Consejos durante el vuelo Tips during the flight Le detallamos una serie de consejos y ejercicios para hacer que su viaje sea más saludable y cómodo. Estos ejercicios le ayudarán a contrarrestar los efectos de los vuelos de larga duración.

• Evitar cruzar las piernas cuando esté sentado. • Evitar excesos en el consumo de bebidas alcohólicas y de café. • Hidratarse adecuadamente mediante la ingesta de líquidos. • Evitar el consumo de tabaco. • Dejar despejado el espacio del asiento de delante a fin de poder estirar y mover las piernas. Intente tener la mayor movilidad posible en el asiento y evite colocar equipaje delante de él. • Realizar ejercicios frecuentes de flexión y extensión de los pies de forma alternativa así como movimiento de los dedos. • Siempre que se pueda y las condiciones lo permitan ponerse de pie en la zona del

We have outlined a series of exercises and some advice in order to make your flight healthier and more comfortable. These exercises will help you to counteract the effects of long haul flights.

• Avoid crossing your legs when you are seated. • Avoid drinking large amounts of alcohol and coffee. • Ensure you stay hydrated by drinking enough liquids. • Avoid smoking. • Leave the area between you and the seat in front clear so that you can stretch and move your legs. Try to obtain as much mobility as possible in your seat and avoid placing luggage in front of it. • Do bending and stretching exercises on each foot frequently as well as curling and uncurling the toes of each foot.

Consult your doctor before flying if any of the following are true for you: Recent surgical operations; hormone treatments (including the birth control pill); personal or family history of Deep Vein Thrombosis; certain illnesses of the heart; cancer; pregnancy; certain blood complaints.

But, that’s just for starters, because Cuba’s central and eastern regions hold many surprises for adventurous travellers. Villa Clara, a province with a fascinating history, is home to Plaza Ernesto Che Guevara, where the legendary warrior and his comrades are buried. Very close by, Remedios, one of the oldest towns in Cuba, is a national monument and birthplace of the great composer and lawyer Alejandro García Caturla. Only a few kilometres away are the Cuban Keys, or small islands, to the north of Villa Clara, part of the Buenavista Biosphere Reserve. Cayo Las Brujas, Cayo Santa María and Cayo Ensenachos, three beautiful islands where you can switch off, chill out and reconnect with the basics in life: pristine beaches, delicate fine sand and an astonishing variety of marine plant and animal life. The south, the most well-known part

The southern side of the island is a paradise of sun and sand, a world class tourist destination. It’s not hard to see why, as it has almost 60 kilometres of beaches. The most popular, Maspalomas, is a haven of white dunes stretching out towards the famous Maspalomas lighthouse. At the other end is the traditional Playa del Inglés, a vast expanse of sand and a tourist hotspot packed with hotel complexes, apartments, bars, restaurants and discos. If you crave peace and quiet, the beaches of San Agustín, Amadores and Mogán are the perfect hideaway. They have the added charm of being close to little towns where life is taken at a more relaxing pace. A good example is Puerto de Mogán, otherwise known as Little Venice. But Gran Canaria isn’t all about relaxing holidays in the sun. Its natural heritage is second to none, and can only really be appreciated by walking through its countryside.
