The compact ski area is within walking distance of most accommodations: no ski bus or long queues. Equipment can be rented at Knööli at the base of the main slope.
Around Luosto and Pyhä there are 150 km of well-maintained trails, of which 18 km are lit in Luosto. The routes partly run through PyhäLuosto National Park and are suitable for both classic cross-country skiing and skating. Choose a quiet beginner loop, ski to Lampivaara for a café break, or take the 35 km long route to Pyhä. Always check the current trail status before departure.
