Throughout the last 7 years, the school has been through an intense process
of transformation. It started with a change of leadership and a transfer of trust
in this regard from my parents - the founders of the school, to me, as the
Executive Director. I am grateful for the strong foundation we continue to
build on, and for the efforts to change education in Romania, which my parents
had the courage to initiate almost 30 years ago.
The recent change my team and I decided to embark on came from a realisation
of how the local context of post-communist Romania has been impacting
who we are as adults - as individuals, coworkers, teachers, parents, partners
and in all our many other roles.
This report serves to acknowledge the work done so far by me and my
colleagues, and also to create a clearer picture of where we are going.
